I’ve gone to goodwill twice and walked out with nothing I went for anything that was Fur material for a project, found a used monkey costume, worn out but all I needed was the material $26!!! Went to joanns material was 8 a yard so spent $16 on new material wayy less! I also went for small DIY items I said absolutely not! Went to Dollar Tree and found those exact items for less than goodwill priced them for. Trust me your better off buying new. I also no longer donate to goodwill I just post them on apps for free and if anyones in need they can get it for free I don’t see why those in need should be paying these ridiculous goodwill prices.

we go into a swamp at our local couse. The mud is up to your stomach with about a foot of water on top of that. We wear waders since there are hundreds of big red striped leeches in there, and use our feet/arms to feel around. Pulled close to 100 from a tiny swamp on hole 1 alone! Nothing beats touching a disc with your hand and yanking that thing out of the mud

Weird that goodwill sells all their good stock to raghouses and then has to fill their racks with dollar general shirts. But I guess they just have "too many donations". Hypebeasts have scammed and ruined the entire market for everyone but themselves.

My 65 year old boyfriend has sore muscles from working as cart attendant at Sam's Club. He uses an electric mule. He wants tips on how to do it without hurting himself. I say have Sam's Club put up signs that read, " Help us cut costs, bring in a cart to use to shop" i always bring in a cart at any store i go to, whether i will need one or not. People mindless drones walk past multiple carts in lot thinking they have to wait to get inside the store. I even ask for cart from someone that just unloaded theirs. They like that they didn't have to return it to a station.

its a little heart warming seeing your kid playing in the same living room that your wife is cooking(?) in and you're packing a box in. there's lots of clutter but none of it is actually dirty. makes your house seem very lively

This is very interesting to get a glimpse into how rag houses work. Kinda like "theres enuff pie for everyone to get a slice" kinda thing. Im sure Goodwill is making a good amount of money from this too since they become the initial "owners" of all of this before it gets moved down the line. I would LOVE to watch a documentary about the whole process from goodwill getting it to the deals they have in place w the rag houses all the way to the leftovers going overseas to wherever..its a whole world of operations ive only recently ever began to learn about. Im a wannabe reseller and my basement is becoming a bit of a raghouse...but more like the ones Jacob visited in Thailand. Time to start moving weight!! Thank you for the vid. I chalk it up to being a smallscale documentary albeit not too in depth and still mysterious but still informative and very entertaining nonetheless!

Hi! you’re gonna have to scrub them with a brush. Get some oxi and water, make a paste and scrub it on the shoes for a bit and let them sit in the sun

Cool that you are making an effort to get them back to the people who lost them. I recently read this thread in one of the buying/selling disc groups about someone who went diving for discs and where selling them without getting in touch with people who had clearly marked their discs, so I think it's a messed up thing to do for profits in that way. Like most players would probably give a few bucks to get their discs back, but seems like a really nice way to gain friends in the community and start building a bag if you are not afraid of returning the discs. If you are not using them yourself, I think it would be nice to donate them to new players or offer to lend them out at the sports library if you have one locally

How can they be raising prices because of resellers they are just paying what they are asking for the products! Goodwill has slowly gotten more and more greedy they have figured out every little dirty loophole or way to squeeze every penny out of their customers and employees, they are disgusting!
