I've always preferred this version, over the one on "U Can Never B2 Straight". It starts out really slowed down, but by the time George sings "It started when I was only a boy", it completely changes, giving a rockier sound not heard in the original, building up to a very fast paced ending. I think this was a one-of-a-kind idea to rework the song into something completely different; I wonder if this was all George's idea, for the Broadway version? I also love the little add-on he does twice after he sings "Ich Bin Kunst" in the beginning, at 0:36 and 1:03; I don't know what it is, but it adds a little icing on the cake to this rock-influenced version. I wonder why he didn't do it twice at the end, too?
