The design is excellent, the aesthetic is beautiful, the music is on point It all feels like a religious place you have to respect and keep clean

I still see Mario Galaxy 3 floating in my dreams. This game was apart of mine and many others childhoods

Idk what happened, but Nintendo knocked it out of the park with Galaxy. The mechanics, the levels, the music, and this little (easily missed) storyline blended in just the right way to create a masterpiece that we really haven't seen the likes of in the series since.

Always associated this with Luigi. Idk why.

What!? The ambience of the planet core with the Grand Star isn’t considered a track? Madness!

I wish we could get our revenge on Kamek in this game, but at least we can beat him up in New Super Mario Bros. Wii/U!

Fun Fact: In Bowser Jr’s Airship Armada, if you aim the first cannon to the right, you can see a tiny “planet” with 5 Goombas on it. If you shoot to the planet, you can defeat every Goomba on it for a 1-Up. The planet is also bouncy, so that’s fun as well.

Can somebody explain to me what’s so hard about Battlestation’s Purple Coins? I genuinely have no idea why people think it’s so hard to complete. I beat it first try, but some other purple coin missions took me 2-3 attempts.

Even when 100%ing this game as both Mario and Luigi, I never heard the game over theme. Not once. Even the hardest missions like Bouldergheist’s Daredevil Run, Purple Coins In The Bone Pen, and Luigi’s Purple Coins didn’t really challenge me. But to be fair, the game is a bit generous with the 1-Up Mushrooms.

This is such a great finale to the game! Even though I like the rearrangement of Bowser’s Road better than this, it serves as a much more fitting song for the home stretch.

Return of the soap… But seriously, I wish the phase in the giant sun core was 3 hits long. Feels like a watered down version of the normal fights when it’s shorter, even if the other phases make the fight longer.

This fits the final normal galaxy so well! It feels like you’re nearing the finale.

Imagine how cool a flying level would be! You could soar through space, dodging hazards and enemies to get a star. Shame they didn’t give the Red Star a fair chance.

The Boo Mushroom is SO underutilized! It only appears in THREE galaxies, and one of them lets you pick between it and the stupid Bee Mushroom. The Bee Mushroom is the favorite child of the power-ups, and it’s such a tragedy!

“You’re an old pro at Ray Surfing, right?” Oh, little penguin. If only you knew.

Why is everyone struggling with the Daredevil Comet? He literally can’t hit you if you’re running in a circle, so just run around him King Bob-Omb style until you’re ready to hit him with the Bomb Boos.

I have Stormtrooper aim with the Fire Flower.

What is with the Undergrunt Gunner in Deep Dark Galaxy? He only fires bubbles at you, and unlike the battle in Goldleaf Galaxy, has NO hazards. The point of the bubbles in Goldleaf Galaxy was to get rid of your Bee Mushroom in order to make the fight harder, but what purpose do the bubbles serve without a Bee Mushroom? The ONLY ways he could hurt you is if the bubbles put you next to a Crabber, or the electric rails next to the turret. The worst part? You can entirely skip the “battle” by side somersaulting and wall jumping to reach the pole. It’s even easier with Luigi! It’s also much faster than defeating the Gunner, getting the Fire Flower and subsequently Ice Flower, and then jumping on the jets of water. But it is fun destroying him with coconuts/melons, so I’m happy he’s here! Edit: Why did KZbin highlight “Undergrunt Gunner”? This update is WEIRD!

First song that ever gave me chills. I first heard this when I was 8 years old, and it still gives me chills to this day.

The developers loved the final planet in Blasting Through The Sand so much, they used it in both the Prankstar Comet missions.

Yeah, this galaxy is mysterious and sad, but are we seriously going to gloss over the Torpedo Teds that casually burst out of the sand? Who put them there? Why do they hate penguins so much? And why do the penguins care more about eels than dangerous, explosive torpedos?

I remember renting this game from a place called Family Video as a kid. I rented it multiple times, but for some reason, we never bought it. Still, I have great memories loving this game, its music, world and everything.
