Looking forward to this being released on the Xbox. I own all the Captain SIM 777 s. I find all of Captain Sam third party add-ons to be unreliable and finicky. A little nervous about a study level aircraft, but if it flies consistently I'll be happy.

Oh yes. This is definitely a big upgrade compared to the Captain Sim. The Captain Sim is very much behind in terms of depth. It's barely even a 777 😂

This newly released airplane's cockpit needs a bit improvement .IMO I feel the cockpit colours +modelling need to be improved .. the Exterior +Interior model is good .. Sounds are not that close to the real thing... MSFS ground handling is something which needs to be highly worked upon.. even though devs are working hard and making weather apps but msfs weather api needs to be fixed.. the P3D ones is much better though..

Even the APu sound is ridiculous and where are the packs sound on P3D you turn them on there is a huge noise outside and now it's like a tesla

Yeah those sounds are a bit off. It almost sounds like the L/R engines are not synchronized in pitch. those GE90s sound a bit like a hairdryer lol The sounds in P3D were perfect though

Yeahhh the sounds are very funky. Too high pitched and lacking bass just like a hairdryer. Hopefully the future updates fix it lmao

@@CAG2 Yeahh it is very off. MSFS physics and dynamics are weird lol. PMDG have really half assed this 777. And even the cockpit is not as good as the P3D version. I am actually quite disappointed as it did not meet my expectations.

They sound more like Air Raid sirens than GE90s...spool up and the low to medium spool during landing.

The cockpit looks more retro. It looks like the cockpits that came with 772s which were produced in the 90s and early 2000s haha. I still prefer the P3D cockpit though.

The sounds are a little funky, especially on approach, the performance is definitely lacking. And the cockpit could've been modelled better. But otherwise it flies well, cabin sounds are stunning and cockpit sounds are good! So I think a few updates and we should have a pretty solid PMDG product!

Btw just a tip: try to maintain VREF+5 on approach instead of VREF. You should aim to touch down at VREF. It will make flying the final approach feel more natural, trust me :)

Yess! I directly program the +5 speed into the FMC and always fly it that way. Touching down at Vref is something I gotta work on tho! Thanks :)

I mean it is a complete sim. Apart from the visual aspect, it's a good simulator. But if you wait for a bit, all the aircrafts will be available on MSFS soon

Hey dude, you should do a settings video! Your sim looks better than any v5 ive seen without volumetric clouds and looks like it performs nice. Still trying to tune my pc to get the performance you do on a 4070!

The Go Around was sort of a blessing in disguise thanks to the beautiful views of the Vegas strip haha. What aircraft do you think is better to handle, the 737 Max or the 737 NG?

Yesss I agree 100% The 737NG handles better than the Max any day! Especially when it comes to the pitching of the nose and the overall feel of climbing and descending. But that could also be due to the fact that the Max is made by iFly and the NG by PMDG!

One thing I noticed, you turned on the fuel control switch before 25% N2. This will increase the risk of hot-starting the engine. In addition, the 737 MAX has a feature called Bowed Rotor Motoring, or BRM which motors the engine for some time during the engine start sequence. The EICAS tells you this is happening when it puts the MOTORING label on the N2 gauge. You should not turn on the fuel control lever until that message is cleared and you see at least 25% N2.

Hey! With MSFS 2020 and FS2024 round the corner, I would recommend investing in Microsoft Flight Simulator right now. It is the future of flight simulation. Even PMDG and other aircrafts are rolling out everyday in MSFS. But if you are still looking to get P3D, check the mods out in my channel description.
