Yep! Was pretty surprised myself, I had it running under 30 minutes yesterday! Not sure how long it had been in the junkyard, already missing a lot of the interior and was sitting on the frame before we moved it to my new shop!

Maybe as a temp fit up but not a good idea to drive with 1 of 2 cats, just remove the other and balance the air flow. One bank will run rich and the other lean as the o2 sensors fight each other. Could cause vibrations too as one bank will be making more torque then the other.
@kareyj20 күн бұрын
@@robertficek7586 yeah, you are right, to clarify, someone had punched out the passenger side that’s just a shell. so I cut out and piped the driver side. It has no cats now on either side just the passenger has the shell of one is all.

@kareyj24 күн бұрын
@@MidwestMechanics for fun mainly but I also own a small junkyard with most the parts I’ll be needing. the 2500 is a little bit of a cool piece. 4x4 6.0L (factory none fuel management engine) 4L80E and 410 gears. We are in the camper rental business with 6 kids during the summer and this will tow any of our campers in our season while fitting the family.

What is the high amp alternator that works great? Especially with using a winch occasionally?
@kareyj7 ай бұрын
This one I have is the higher amperage, I would assume it would handle a winch being used occasionally but was the factory spec for this truck.
