The Valeton can't save loops though. This can. I don't know of anything other than Digitech Trio+ or Boss RC10r that does what this does (similar) at half the cost.

I bought this looper on a whim before they even had anything on the Mooer website about it yet. I'm still unsure if I'm going to keep it, but at the very least it is actual a pretty cool drum machine on its own. As a looper, I see it as more of a practice tool than anything to use for live performance. Its great to have all the banks, and the ease of switching between them is excellent, but 99 loops without being able to label anything would get confusing. All that being said, for the price point I wouldn't really ding it because it's probably the best looper under $200 and I got it on sale for $111. So it is definitely impressive and still is in its baby stages. If they came out with a big brother with some extra features like MIDI, maybe more loops per memory, it really could compete with some of the big boys. I actually do like the simplicity of going from the different memory slots, but I think it'd be cool to maybe do something where you can create those loops and save them in groups or “songs” rather. That could really change the game instead of having to spend $600 on an Aeros or Boss RC-600 to make multiple song parts, you could have a single track looper to build backing tracks easily and organize songs with.

When using the Gl 100 looper. How do I start recording a loop by having the drums record first, instead of playing the guitar first to start the loop?
