Mate, I really appreciate the post. You're helping the sport more than you can imagine right now, with full scale racing up "shit creek" in the Sydney region almost non-existent, it's bloke's like you that are still keeping it in the Public's eye and mind, cause as you'd know, "out of sight is out of mind." And with all the issues and design flaws of Eastern (shit) Creek Speedway STILL not taken care of, Speedway anywhere near Sydney, is still Speedway nonetheless!! So again, thanks for posting. Two last thoughts, Luddenham who have been the perfect place to rebuild, after the closure of the old Liverpool City Raceway, also, when I was growing up, Sydney had three dedicated tracks, Sydney Showground Speedway, Parramatta City Raceway and of course, Liverpool. Now, we have a $100 million taxpayer funded White bloody Elephant!! And that's the wack. Christ, there was the old Newcastle Motordrome, and even the old Wollongong track, all within easy reach of Sydney, so if you include those into the greater Sydney area, you really had five tracks. How I miss those days!! Anyway, you have a good one mate.

Where is this being run? It is actually in Australia, isn't it, eh? EDIT : - Not that it makes any difference, but I just wanted to know, one way or another!! Sorry about interrupting your online enjoyments,but I've been a Speedway Fan since they built Liverpool City Raceway. (Don't know if you remember the old T.V adds that Mike Raymond used to do, but the "Catch cry" for the place was . . "This Saturday night [and all these really quickly cut and intense scenes of nasty Car crashes, left, right and Centre, but it did what it was meant to,and it put "bums on seats"] at the Liverpool City Raceway . . "BEE T H E R E!!"

How'd you find karting? Bit different from your usual speedway. love to see you drive anything.
@daynbentvelzen13878 ай бұрын
Hey mate, thanks for the comment appreciate it! I do miss racing speedway, but yeah karting is very different, only ever raced motorcross or speedway so its definately been a challenge, it's surprisingly pretty physical I ended up with absolutely cooked arms and neck from racing the Kart all day, slowly learning tyre pressures and kart setup, and just trying to be smooth and consistent, Ive only been in the kart about 5 times since i bought it and this was my second attempt at racing, im just doing it for a bit of fun when i have time, between work and our 2 young kids and the cost it's been a challenge to anything at all but luckily its only 15 minutes away from home and I picked up a used Kart nice and cheap, but i am enjoying it, its good to just be steering something :)

What's the deal with the left front flopping around as if it isn't connected to the steering wheel?
@daynbentvelzen1387 Жыл бұрын
Thats normal mate, very lightweight steering components and very quick ratio direct steering
