I was blessed to see James Brown in his early age of performing he give you the real authentic show he does not skip. He gives you all of him when he’s on stage that’s why he’s called the godfather of soul point blank

Sorry! Hip hop didn’t start in the 40s. Back in Africa. Or any of those crazy internet stories people like to quote. James Brown is the originator of the Hip Hop aesthetic. The bragging. The swag. The flow. The drum beat. The patterns. You’re looking at the guy who invented it. Established musicians had no respect for this music. “Where’s the melody? The meaningful lyrics? How are you gonna grunt and scream through an entire song? What a silly song. Who makes a song about popcorn? Why does he call it “mother popcorn?” This stuff doesn’t make sense. 😂” That’s exactly what they said. Even the first band members called it “wrong music.” Besides the Maceo sax part, every musician plays the same part over and over with ZERO variation. Then the whole band plays the change the same way. Then back to the one. That drove young people wild on the dance floor. It was completely original never before attempted by anyone BRAND NEW MUSIC!

But the watermelon hibiscus popcorn at the lifetime fitness gym in suburban Square Ardmore combine with a Johnny pop in the morning for breakfast taste delicious. #KRSOne goes on the #95Tour here as well. Rap and hip hop killed music. There isn't an artist alive that's in the same league as James Brown!..
