It's a job. That's the bottom line. If you think this is a dream, think again. It can be a enjoyable job at times but it's not glamorous, and it's not well paid at all, at least in the beginning. Not even a liveable wage, especially at a regional or low cost airline.

I’m 20 years older than you…I also definitely appreciate my childhood and life before “all this”….I get what you are saying about age…I’m fortunate to have just retired and I can spend time with my mom….take the cruise…I think you will enjoy it! Blessings!!😊

I hated being on RSV for 5 years when I first started with my company. She’s right , you do not make any money. In 1973, my first paycheck was $525.00 a month. It was ridiculous. But I stayed for 42 yrs. I retired bc I got tired of being tired all the the time. Your life is totally different and goes chaotic.

Awe your welcome! I would post way more if my life was more entertaining but sadly where I live it’s really boring. Not much happens unless I travel out and well it’s hard cause life is expensive plus my husband works a lot. 🫠 I wish I could move but I don’t think it’s in my cards

It's crazy to think that you guys are paid only for when you've closed the doors to when you land, not even for greeting people off the plane. I know you get a bit for time away from base, but considering how much of your life is impacted for the benefit of your employer - scheduling meals, not being able to see friends even if you ARE home, having your mind in "work mode" a day before going to work and dedicating that day mostly to work, is a LOT! Must admit, with my anxious personality, I wouldn't feel comfortable if I didn't take care of all that stuff a day prior - I'd just end up worrying about it all day!

I can’t believe that it was a year ago when you got married. I have heard of the Aulani resort before, though I haven’t seen any commercials for it in a long time. Your experience with the passenger being sick on the plane is why I double mask on the planes still. Having had COVID in December makes me even more nervous in cramped spaces that are indoors.

I've never had a dog, only cats, and thankfully, the "potty training" is so simple. It's like they're preprogrammed 😄 The one time my brother got a puppy for his wife (years ago, pre wedding). I was holding the puppy (border collie) and just opened my arms, thinking that, because she has 4 legs and fur, she'd easily land like cats do. The poor thing fell on the grass, legs everywhere, I felt awful! I honestly didn't know - I'd honestly need to do research to get a dog! Winter is a very pretty girl, though. I must admit😊 (That blush looks great on you)
