this does not work. i have spigot already most recent version and i downloaded the engine .jar and put the plugins in the plugin folder and restarted the server and when i type /pl it shows the plugins are green but when i type: /crate editor it does nothing. does not work.

i tried it and it didnt work. Well the server loaded with the arclight jar but plugins dont work. Im using forge 47.3.3 on minecraft 1.20.1. Could ththe forge version be the reason why? I assumed a slightly newer version would be okay but i cant lie im too lazy to switch the server to an older forge version since idk if my friends also need that version Scrap that, i downloaded the correct forge version to the server, i didnt have to change but the plugins still didnt work

are you trying to run the server using the run.bat? if so, that's not the way you should be doing it. there is a tutorial in the arclight documentation which explains that you have to use the run command they provide, not the run.bat

hey, if you mean allowing bedrock and java players you'd need to know how to handle ports on your server and, self hosting is not suggested for big projects but more of a Devrlopment/testing server. and you'd want to use Geyser and Floodgate (plugins)

Yes you can use it with most/any hosting provider (ones which allow to upload custom server jars) I suggest AlienHost tho support for server jars out of their available ones may be limited

idk who else to ask abt this but for a event i wanted to make a few crates and the players would be able to buy the keys during the event for a chance to get a good item dose that make it so that the players who played during the event have a too big advantage (also i thought of setting it up during the event then just locking the ability to buy more keys after the event so that people can still redeem keys (also you can only buy crate keys with the in game currency))

probably its worldguard, allow interact in the region's flag, if its not worldguard, then its spawn protection, set it to 0. these are usaìually what cause it
