They are to diverse and tight as a group! Punk, rock, funk, new wave, future flow, pop, and came out in a wave of groups that hit CBGBs in NY which no one still don’t acknowledge because they were over our heads.

3:AM, I'm watching movie - insomnia. Suddenly this song comes forward and I realize that I'm hearing a serious soundtrack, not just a parody... So, I setup to find the whole song on KZbin and finally buy the soundtrack from iTunes. I slept well after all!

The most Umbrella Academy song that wasn't on the show. Had to hear it in a moment where a lady reveals she faked the death of a chimp and it's living in her basement

This is the work of a genius. It conveys stealth, danger and tension. Its a departure from the comedy of most of the movie but sets up the action without being too heavyhanded like a conventional action acene score.

When I read that Gerald Casale was a long haired hippie in a demonstration confronting the national guard…. and watched a mortal bullet wound come out of the back of his friend… at Kent State campus… I suddenly realized what DEVO was. Way beyond the music. Something created out of an act of violence.

This song could have been written about a certain (Orange Tanned) individual vying to become the so called leader of the free world - let's just say if US voters don't use their common sense come November the entire global population will be a lot less free this time next year!

It's Devo.

I remember being in Jr High when this album came out in 1978?? Anyway. My friends & i upon 2nd listen, we were hooked. It was so vastly different from anything else. Even when 80's new wave came along. Devo were always on their own planet. Real trailblazers. Blew me away then. Even now, their still in their own genre.

My uncle gifted me this movie for my 6th birthday as a gag gift. Turned out to be my favorite movie of all time and could easily hold my attention for the whole 2 hours. Love. This. Movie. Love this song. Mark Mothersbaugh turns up at the strangest points in my life. Akron’s Art museum had a whole exhibit based around his art, music and life. It was amazing.
