Congratulations on your first jump, and to others who have done theirs. As satisfying as your first skydive is, actually learning how to skydive takes things to another level. As a tandem passenger, you have faced your fear and done a skydive. But you were of course just a passenger, and didn't really have to do or learn anything to do your skydive. Being a tandem passenger is like being a sack of potatoes. You are just along for the ride. While it is of course an acomplishment to do even one tandem skydive, it doesn't compare to the feeling of learning to skydive without an instructor on your back. The vast majority of people do one tandem skydive, cross it off their bucket list and move on. But they have only dipped their toes in the water. Go back to that drop zone and sign up for their Accelerated Freefall Course. That sense of euphoria that you felt for hours after your first jump is huge, and deservedly so. Now just imagine how satisfying it is to be comfortable in freefall without an instructor, and view your first jump as just the beginning rather than an end to your skydiving.

Hey man! My names Connor. I’ve been trying to find your email or way to contact you but no luck. You put together a video about me for Verizon back in 2016. ~ UHSE ~ I was wondering if you by any chance you still had that video, and also wondering what you are up to now. Hopefully this reaches you

it's so hard to describe to people exactly how it feels to fall for a minute at 125mph. In videos it looks like you're floating but when you do it, it's a whole different sensation

It truly does change you; The endorphins released made me feel great, and for several days after. One change in particular is I still enjoy rides like roller-coasters, but that feeling of dropping you get on them is vastly diminished now. NOTHING like it - a life experience you will never forget. And with the cheaply priced action cameras, including 360-degree version, you can save the experience in High Definition....

All I can say is it's a spiritual experience of self enlightenment. Skydiving, for me was like facing a massive iron wall that personified my fear. After I made the jump. I learned that the wall is just an illusion. All barriers in our minds are just illusions. And skydiving taught me more than just about overcoming fear, but overcoming any challenge that comes up in life.
@georgejacob3162

That's a great way of looking at it. For me skydiving simply taught me that it was OK to let go of certain people, jobs, material possessions and locations. I was holding on to all of this material and emotional baggage that no longer served any purpose for me. It also taught me that there is nothing to fear and it also taught me to look at life from a different perspective.

Hi Jason, I recently found Barbara Sher as well, and love her material! I'm working on putting together an 'idea party' as she calls them. I'm also interested in monetary system reform, and am studying economic principles regarding money architecture and currency design. Have you read the book 'Sacred Economics' by Charles Eisenstein or 'New Money for a New World' by Bernard Leitar? Those are both great books and great authors for you to check out their content. I, personally, don't think that universal basic income is something that humanity is ready for in its current state of consciousness (in the future it probably will), but I really enjoy coming across others who are looking at changing the monetary system for the good. I think it is a worthwhile endeavor! I personally am looking at starting a local currency project here based on the 'life dollars' designed by Francis Ayley. So glad to come across your video, and send me a message back if you like to chat about monetary reform with another supporter. Keep on keepin' on! :)

I really like your voice, your message, your face, your energy. You have a demeanor, I think well suited for winning people's trust. However, I think you should lose the white fabric background. There has got to be something better than that.

Thanks for the great feedback! Really appreciate the honesty. I'd have to agree -- I'm not really in love with the backdrop I bought. Do you have any recommendations? If not, I'll keep searching. It's really tough to keep it pulled tight and hiding all of the shadows, it's been something I'd really like to improve. Thanks for watching and if you have any specific backdrop suggestions I'll take em. Otherwise, I'll start looking around. :)

+Jason Small Recently, I saw professional graduation pictures done in front of a fabric background that was grey, intentionally wrinkled and unevenly dyed. It looked really good. It had interest and texture but not distracting. I think the issue I have with your back drop is that it doesn't do anything for you. It is kind of white, kind of smooth, kind of a wall, but not. A blank wall the same color with the right lighting could be effective. I don't know if that helps, but you're putting yourself out there which is awesome.
@JasonSmallOnline
@JasonSmallOnline 8 жыл бұрын
+FabricFest thank you -- very much appreciate the time you took to share and provide your suggestions. I've started by looking up better lighting methods to backdrops. I've ordered lights to better separate me from the background and make it look infinite -- which was my intent, so I'll see if that works. Thanks again, very grateful for your time and attention!
