Good job for keeping it over 200K. Done a whole bunch on Toyota and Honda but never a Nissan so here I'm looking to see where the filter located, did not know Nissan does not have any cover panel on the filter which make it much quicker to get to. Changing at home is better because you can drain the dirty oil to the last drop and most importantly you know what you putting in. I have the same steel ramps and I use some blocks on the footing before getting the car up on the ramps otherwise my front bumper will be scratching against it and hate to hear that sound. Once it started to drain I would open the oil cap so it will make it drains a little quicker. Thank for sharing.

It'll temporarily seal it self when the leaking is a bout size of pin hole but guarantee it will getting worse every day and will not seal itself any more

hello, I'm Harry, I live in France and I have an LS 400 96, but I have a problem! when I got it it made a lot of smoke (too much gasoline) and one day it didn't want to start at all. I checked and changed a lot of things! Could it be the camshaft sensor(s) that are defective, I changed the crankshaft sensor, still no good! THANKS
@3hmongchannel7622 ай бұрын
It could be numb ears of things could be 1/. Bad gas. 2/.Oil or cooling leak into the cylinder and flood all the spark plugs. If I was you I 'll go the cheap route first take out the all the spark plugs and clean and then put them back, see if still not work pump all the old gas out and refill with fresh one.

From what I've read, there are several issues here. First, this is a Karman vortex MAF sensor, it is very sensitive and delicate. Spraying with MAF Cleaner requires CAREFUL cleaning and FULLY drying it, since there are several places for the cleaner to accumulate inside the sensor. Allow 24 hours to dry. Second, poor idling can be due to failed electrolytic capacitors in the ECU, if they haven't been replaced, you should do that. Use only Panasonic or Rubycon GENUINE Low ESR type capacitors, I bought mine from Mouser Electronics. The replacement process is DELICATE, so don't just use any soldering setup, skill is required. Third is to clean the throttle body, which controls idle fuel and air mixture.
@3hmongchannel7624 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching I replaced most of the major components including replace all the capacitors In the ECU. I purchase from Digit Key but still did not solve the problem finally I found out that a wire bundle under neat the fuse box came loose.

Do not flush you Trans, all you do is change the fluid and filter that will make your truck runs and shift a lot smoother

If you own a Cub Cadet you will have carb issues. Snowblowers sit so long the carbs gun up and wont start. Not to difficult to clean the carb. Takes about 1/2 hr - 1 hr to do the dirty deed. Cub Cadets = Carb issues at some point. We drain the float and add a gas additive before storage. So far it has done the trick. When they run they work great. We bought our Cub Cadet because it was cheap , with the understanding we would do our own maint and expecting to do it often since it is a China made POS. We have the trac snoblower and so far so good. The Hondas are much better machines at twice the cost. So your Granpa was right. Buy cheap = Buy twice. HHHAAAHAHA!! We also own an Arien and it always is having problems with the linkage and all kinds of weird shit happens with that one. So it isnt just the Cub Cadet. Between the two of them we get er done. Glad you got yours running.

The first clue was when you fed it some starting fluid and it started indicated that a lot was working. You had compression, spark and the timing was right. That leaves no gas. Could be junk in the carburetor from ethanol in gas or water in the carburetor. Also, you you use much too much starting fluid. Only need a short squirt or two.

Every Year I have problems, with a Craftsman. Doesn’t matter if I run the tank down, the way it’s designed fuel always remains in the tank. I’ve even restored to tipping the blower over, and pulling the outer plug on the Carburetor Bowl, to drain everything. During the late Fall I fill the tank, and put Two Tablespoons of either Seafoam or Gumout in the tank. Prime, Full Choke, and Start. If it won’t continue to run. I push the Primer Bulb, once each time it starts to stall. Usually after a while it will run on Full Choke, if not a Piece of Tape, place a piece of foam rubber over the Primer Bulb, and close the Hole off. After it will run without the Choke, and Primer Bulb blocked. I slowly ease the Auger on, and Drive Wheels on. After it is running good, I do an Oil Change as there’s a chance the Oil was slightly diluted with Gasoline, leaking past the rings, from running too rich.

first flapper you see is the traction control butterfly, its always open. 2nd is the one your after. The IAC motor under your yellow hose (mine broke there too! ) is a stepper motor that runs on 2 skateboard type sealed bearings. Somehow they get corroded and get very stiff and even seize up at a 1800 RPM like mine did. I just drove it home 10 miles in the freeway without my foot even on the gas. Took the stepper motor apart and found the rear bearing was totally seized. Lubed both and got them rolling again, IAC worked great after that: started at abou 1000 cold and dropped to 600 like clockwork.
