@@rodriguesvivek For that age, it is better to look for a kids size guitar. A full size guitar may be big and heavy. Unfortunately, not a lot of options for kids electric guitars in India. You can look for Epiphone travel sized guitar as an option.

It really looks beautiful. What is the body wood used? Fretboard seems to be Rosewood or Ebony. What is the weight of the guitar? Do you suggest this guitar as a base for mod guitar?
@DIYGuitarist

I wouldn't suggest this guitar as a base for big mods. The fretboard is not really ebony, it is some softer wood. The whole guitar weighs low because cheaper wood is used.

Did you say that vault with maple fretboard was discontinued? I think when it comes to cheap electric guitar, guitar with maple fretboard is better than other woods.
@DIYGuitarist
@DIYGuitarist 8 ай бұрын
Of course there is a big hype for Rosewood in Western world whereas we Indians feel Maple is superior. I can only think the expression - "grass is always greener on the other side" We will do a playthrough comparison as well, but there was little observable differences in tonality. Bajaao don't have Maple fretboard Vault guitars on their store, I assume they don't provide this option anymore. I feel Maple has a better look than cheap fretboard wood used in Juarez. I haven't seen the material used in darker fretboard Vault guitars.
@Dinga_Detta_Chhangte
@Dinga_Detta_Chhangte 8 ай бұрын
@@DIYGuitarist What I said about is not about the tonal difference. No one can differentiate the tonal difference in blindfold. Even it's not about western prefer Rosewood, We Indian think maple is superior 😊 I have a friend who got vault strat with Rosewood or Indian Laurel fretboard. When I played it, I don't know what's wrong. There was something not quite right especially in the higher frets. Maybe due to the build quality. I saw one guy on KZbin reviewing his Vault strat with maple fretboard. He said the fretboard was really nice and smooth in that price range. I think even Vault with maple fretboard is costlier. I don't know why they discontinued maple fretboard. I think the earlier Vault guitars were much better in the build quality than those vault guitars produced recently.
@DIYGuitarist
@DIYGuitarist 8 ай бұрын
I feel the Vault guitars with Maple fretboard is of better quality as well. Till I found this one, I had not seen a Vault Strat in reality. I used to think that it is just another Juarez with Vault logo. This one certainly changed my perception. I see Bajaao now has Henrix Strat with Maple fretboard, but with 21 frets than 22 on this one. It may be the way Bajaao wants to bring back Maple fretboard Strats.

It depends on the person playing the guitar. Most of us started since the early 90s. Those days and even now most of us cannot afford expensive branded guitar. However many of us performed and are even performing live on stage with very cheap musical instruments and doing great shows. The audience is least bothered about the brand or expensiveness of our equipments. They cheer for us for our melodies. Cost or brand of the instrument does not matter. What matters is the musician playing it. Its a great but I must say. Even earlier i had brought few second hand guitars and they are much better than branded and expensive ones.
