To my lost comrades-who were searching for a way to freely paint and erase brush strokes: Shift + E for an eraser that is not restricted to strokes, paths or fill shapes. Works just like a normal eraser brush! (Remember to select the thing you're trying to clean up, otherwise it will affect the rest of the drawing) Shift + B for the blob brush tool, B for regular paintbrush! Perhaps this too, can avoid your issue with erasing things in the first place.

why I can't find the "tilt" option in the blob brush tool options menu. Is it because I use a pen tablet with a non-wacom brand? i use xp-pen

Duuuude how do you remove the excess lines without deleting the entire line? Edit: Solved! On the blob brush settings (just double click the blob brush on the tool bar) make sure the "Merge Only with Selection" option is turned on

Hi Leah, if you use the blob tool with a pressure sensitive pen the lines you can create are more “natural” The blob tool creates a “shape” and you can adjust the outside edges as needed. I like the blob tool because I can use pen pressure to make the line more thick or thin as needed. I like the blob brush when I want a hand drawn look. The brush tool allows you to create a “clean” vector brush stroke. The brush tool creates a “line” and you can adjust the taper and thickness of the line. Hope that helps!
