Hey Nomad. Nice boat. I have questions: 1.) Does your boat have a planeing hull, or a displacement hull? 2.) Does it have a fixed keel, a swing keel, or a daggerboard? 3.) What make / model / length is she? I am considering doing a sailboat to trawler conversion on my Freedom 21 sailboat. She has a fixed 500 lb. shoal keel that has a 2 and a half foot draft and a displacement hull like a pirate ship. I Googled it and it says trawlers are displacement hulls, and outboard engines are okay on trawlers too. My boat has a Mercury 4 stroke. Not sure how many horsepower, but full speed she seems to go 6 or 7 knots.

Cool video 📹. I have a Razor A5 air which I use for commuting between the bus and work, a distance of about 3 miles each way and its so much fun and i always look forward to my trip on it, even after a busy day working. Its a great way to keep in shape and is much easier than a bike as i can fold it down for both storage at work and whilst using the bus 🚍. Theres nothing better than a good scoot!! Btw, I'm 57 yrs old so just goes to show, its never to late to have fun 🎉.

@@0fficialnomad can you help me figure out the speed issue, if of course you have any guesses. I'm still thinking about whether to buy this scooter or not, I just don't want to buy a slow one. It makes no sense for me to take a scooter that will be a little faster than walking, will I be able to pick up speed of 12-15 miles without much effort? Or is this the speed where you need to put in a lot of effort?

Ouch. This is partly why I bought an A5 air-tyre. The other reason was because the hard-tyre went too fast and I was surely gunna die! Both types of wheel have their advantages but on balance I'd take the hard-tyre and try and be more careful as it's faster, less laborious (more roll) and therefore...more fun!

Fantastic video! I live in the suburbs but I recently bought the Razor A5 Air scooter to walk our dogs around the neighborhood. I found the scooter to be very liberating to ride vs a bicycle, which I also do, but increasingly I opt for the scooter to go on solo trips in my community on simple errands or to the gym. I hooked up a LED bicycle lamp and phone mount as well. The only modification I made was change out the bearings (which I think were actually great quality in hindsight) to some Powell-Peralta Bones skateboard bearings (I’m 60 and been skateboarding in ditches again) but the improvement may have only been negligible, IMHO. Thanks for sharing your video journey! 🙏

That's great Paulo! They sure are fun and make you feel like a kid again for sure. I recently acruired the HEAVY Osprey BMX, swapped out the front wheel with a 16 inch, modified the rear so it's much lower and NOW this thing is a blast to ride everywhere, especially on single track mountain bike trails. I sold the A5 Air because the deck is simply too low overall. I'll never get rid of my A6 though, it's a beauty on pavement. I'm happy to know that you're also having a great time on the kick scooter! It's a new passion that I think more are missing out on.
