I probably wouldn't use it with timecode generator plugged into DSLR. Because of cheap components or bad design (or both), in some popular Lumix or Sony cameras channels do not separate properly - you could end up with LTC sound bleeding into another audio channel. It happened to me when I was recording video about Tentacle on Lumix GH5. I am thinking about buying M2D2 for my field recordings (nature, soundscapes etc), but I would rather record sound straight into my iphone. What still makes me think whether to bite the bullet though is the fact that the output signal goes via AD converter first. I could use it in a combo with my Sony D100 (with latter as ADC and bitbucket), but I don't like double AD conversion.

Can you use the SL2 to expand the inputs on the 888? Since the 888 is supposed to be able to have 16 channels, can you route the SL2 inputs to channels 9-16 and still use the analogue inputs for something else?

Massimo, will you make a two-mono channel portable transmitter for feeding from a mixing bag to an MCR42S and MPR52-ENG? I would like to use my MTP40S body pack transmitters for people, not for camera hops, and eliminate extra cables and battery use, etc... The ability to TRX timecode from the 2 channel transmitter would also help keep sync to the cameras all day, but is not as large of a priority as just having a 2 channel transmitter. The redundancy of a two channel TRX for live news and say your F1 and Moto GP events would help maintain your excellent reliability in the live TV space as well. Two 2 channel transmitters could also feed an MCR54 on a camera, etc... instead of having to deal with 4 separate transmitters from a sound bag. Thank you!

Thank you! Was a great watch seeing all those presentations, didn't even matter that I had a shoot the next day. Sleep is for when you're dead! (although honestly... can't you release these on a schedule that works better for a New Zealand time zone! haha)
