I'm not surprised at this point by the consistent cavs disrespect by these two, which has gone on for years. Calling koby the 30th Best gm in the nba a few years ago slandering every move they make, etc The mobley disrespect here was simply absued, tho. Yeah, he's not a great off player yet, but saying sarr has mobleys off potential after the worst summer league showing in history is crwzy. Em was 16 and 10 and 3 as a 3rd/4th option in a year he has knee surgery while being one of the 5 best defenders on earth. Franz is 19 and 5 as a 2nd option, even worse of a 3 pt shooter and nowhere near the defender that EM was. Against boston, mobley was 21, 10, 4 in 5 games as the starting center. Yeah, it was low volume, hut he shot 37% from 3 and had career highs in ft% ast rebounds ppg and basically every stat. Incremental improvements get him to 20, 12, 5 in a few years being aj all world defnder. It's definitely worth the 25% max. Scotty barnes had great stats on a terrible team that won 25 games. Cade has won like 48 games in 3 years and has injury history concerns. Franz is worse on both sides of the ball. All 3 of them got maxes.

Ron has the highest ceiling in this draft. No reason to think his shot won’t develop. I also was concerned by his listed weight, but when you look at his highlights he’s going right at defenders and also drawing fouls.

@009godspeed
@009godspeed Ай бұрын
@@TheSyndicate09 not a bad player. He has a bad attitude & can jeopardize the teams chemistry with his temper. I'd prefer Haywood. He's younger, & has more potential. He's also experienced in the postseason. He's shown success with Tatum & Brown too. Defensively & offensively. Most importantly we can afford him.
@TheSyndicate09
@TheSyndicate09 Ай бұрын
@@009godspeed Isiah Stewart is 23 & Haywood Highsmith is 27. Stewart is on a very team friendly contract right now over the next 3 years and is a flat out better player. Yeah your taking a risk with his past shenanigans, but a change of scenery on a winning time might do wonders for Stewart.
@009godspeed
@009godspeed Ай бұрын
@@TheSyndicate09 thought Highsmith was 22 since he only played 4 years. We would have to give up something for Stewart in trade versus signing Highsmith. We are better off saving trade assets for Dorian Finney-Smith, Markkanen (if feasible), or a Jerami Grant. Stewart attitude is a hard pass in my opinion. Who knows, I could just be over cautious. All I know is from outside looking in we often think piling talent on one team wins games. That's a misnomer. CHEMISTRY & CAMARADERIE are the defining factors to determine champions. After all they're all "pros." Just a matter of finding the ideal situation, so either one of us could be right in this scenario. Regardless hopefully they grab the best fit.
@TheSyndicate09
@TheSyndicate09 Ай бұрын
@@009godspeed yeah you are taking a gamble on Stewart’s chemistry with the team. BUT, he’s a monster on the boards, he’s an enforcer that the 76ers desperately need, he shot 38% on 3’s and he can defend the perimeter. His contract is also super team friendly! We’re def not getting Markkanen and Jerami Grant is owed a TON of money. So DFS or Stewart are our best options.

I've not been able to get in on these video pods lately (catching them instead in the regular pod Prime feed), but i am very glad you are still putting up video content after your playoff gamers ended. Loved those gamers for making every single game i watched more enjoyable. And right now I'll be going through the entire backlog of video pods that i listened to on Prime so that i can throw you likes here. Between the draft and free agency, the NBA is maybe the best soap opera going. Thanks for the assistance in wading through it all. Btw, it's absolutely nuts to me that Klay's pride was worth losing 8-9 million in average annual value. I can't ever remember defending any team's ownership in the past, but I'm struggling to see the disrespect in offering him 35% more than any other team thought he was worth. Klay seems like a very weird guy.

It's strange that Nuggets FO/GM do not understand the moment they're in. They have the HOF/Legend/Top 10-20 player of all time in his prime, willing to stay in Denver and play like a workhorse 82 games at 35 minutes and 45mins in POs.... no BS no complaining no drama. HOW many times this happened in DEN history? WHEN is it going to happen again? It's mind-boggling that they do not understand the situation they're in. This is IT. Maybe for another 50 years. THIS IS IT. And not doing anything/everything to capitalize on this opportunity that might not come around in the next half century is almost autistic. And that's exactly what Nuggets Owners/FO/GM are doing - NOTHING. Strange. Completely irrational. Ultimately - insulting to Jokic.
@CaneOdPchinje

Inactivity last off-season and at the deadline was a huge mistake. Booth likes to say that he's "looking ahead" - but was unable to understand even just 2 next years . Losing BB and JG (2 championship contributors) in a single moment and not be able to anticipate KCPs next season exit/problem, and finally the same situation with AG at the end of the next season - is a clear sign of incompetence. At the same time he gave contracts to Reggie and Zeke that completely tied FOs hands... (now we see how expensive and delusional those decisions were/are). And went on a draft spree (3) with low 1st/2nd rounders that no one wanted (so no value was realized even after a whole season). With all that - Murray (who was a sub-par last season) is now demanding $52M per year extension. :) All of that could've been foreseen and should've been planned for and addressed at the end of the last season. Before the problems get compounded and pile up into a mountain of shi*. Things that had to be done - didn't get done, and things that never should've been done - got done. Just an incredible string/series of bad decisions. Nope. Bottom line: 3 (three) major contributors to a title are GONE - and replaced with nothing. Also, the picks pool is completely dry right now. That's the Calvin Booth result. And don't even mention BB acquisition - Calvin Booth didn't even had him as his 3rd option - it was a desperation (and lucky) move. And KCP - we all wanted KCP for last 6+ years and the situation lended itself to Calvin so he couldn't miss even with the eyes closed. It's a shame that one Calvin Booth will be the reason for 2-3 years of Jokic's prime being wasted.

Only if you've double-mortgaged your perimeter defense. Data available, not hard to interpret. Don't switch in Luka. Even the announcers knew it... People forget switching is a choice. A handful are fast/accurate enough to kill the fight through. Lazy ass defense schemes to protect the perimeter defenders divas control over scoring.

Nate, the difference in what you are saying with Luka making the mid rangers where he missed so many in games 3, even on the same shot diet is that Tatum and Boston were fouling him every time he touched the paint and refs weren’t blowing their whistle. That’s why he was complaining. He was getting hit every time and that’s why he kept coming up short.

Low enough on the totem pole😂 Ingram can get a max contract with the Spurs, Lakers, Rockets, Nets, Hornets, Clippers or Bulls, at the end of this upcoming season. They’ll all have room to sign a max contract and they are not Utah or Cleveland. Spurs may not be a premier destination for Ingram, but if he pairs with Wembenyama, their winning a chip, no doubt. When considering trades with a player who controls his own destiny, try imagining them being somewhere that makes them happy. Lol
