I genuinely loved their relationship. That he would willing to fight and protects his girlfriend, and that she doesn't want her boyfriend go down in Hell with her, and doesn't want him to suffer too. They both really do care about each other.

they ALMOST hit the Faustien bargain on the head. The only thing they missed was the ream message. In the Story of Faust what saved him from Mephiston at the end, was Mephiston promised to make him happy, and nothing not riches, not power, not influence made Faust happy, what did it was using his own abilities as a doctor to help people, thus freeing him from the contract. In The Devil and Daniel Mouse where it should have gone to give the Faustien ending, was that the Devil did not give her "Her Greatest Triumph" because she didn't feel nor have the Triumph when singing at that concert. Her greatest Triumph musically, was singing with Daniel Mouse, NOT singing with the Devil. There for THAT broke the contract, because the Devil did not give that to her.

It’s funny. The first time that I’ve seen these Nelvana cartoons, I always thought that they were distributed by Viacom. I always thought that they were Viacom cartoons. But they were Canadian cartoons and I guess they’re not distributed by WB instead. Weird, isn’t it?
