I've tried so many times to play through Mother. Closest I've gotten is getting to Eve once, and saving to power lvl before the end-only to never pick it back up. I think that's my wii u copy. One day I'll finish it..maybe. I do earthbound once a year. Mother 3 I've only finished all the way once-before the translation patch using a guide. Every time after I give up right after Chimera Lab.

Ness's Nightmare is the easiest boss ever if you know the trick. Just do nothing but defend and heal until it runs out of PP. It literally can do nothing to you at that point, and you can just start wailing on it unopposed.

I have no idea if you like actively check comments for this video, but there is one fan theory I particularly LOVE that gives Mother 1’s ending even more impact for me. At the end of earthbound in the fight against Giygas, people have a theory that the face being reflected by the devil’s machine isn’t Ness’s, but instead Ninten’s. It’s one of those little theories that adds so much for me, and I find to be entirely plausible too. It’s such a tiny idea, but honestly it speaks volumes to me about Giygas trying to figure out Ness, and seeing some major aspects of Ninten in Ness.

So first things first love the video. I started my mother play through and not only have I been lost and confused I went to the zoo by accident got killed by a gorilla and then by the grace of rnjesus didn’t die to gang zombies trying to get pippi. 9:06 currently in the zoo at lvl8 and this is my best advice, run Defense yo at the start of every encounter cause you will die😂

I really REALLY want to finish Mother, but there's a little problem... I SUCK at video games, especially rpg. Mother 3 is my favourite game ever made, Earthbound was... a really hard experience, I never managed to use Jeff correctly and was almost stuck at a lot of places despite following a guide, but Mother... oh boy. I tried four time playing this game in different versions and my greatest try was when I've been in Lloyd's town... and then, I just die again and again, then keep getting stuck because I don't have any money and can't heal... If someone there knows how to make this game easier without cheat please tell me ! (Sorry for my bad english)
