Simon Belmont might be the best choice and the others can be legendary skins. As for perks, I already have a couple ideas. These are all based on items in the original game. 1. The cross Why: The cross will act as both a perk and an item. The cross allows you to get 5 meters away from killer and stun them for 5 seconds then a 90 second cooldown starts. After that the killer is immune for 30 second. This would act as a new way to stop a killer but the catch is you gotta be very close but by using it you can suddenly stun for a short period of time. This will serve as an alternative to flashlights. 2. Holy water Why: Holy water will act as a miracle cleanse for totems. This way survivors instead of destroying killer totems can cleanse them to use for their own uses. 3. The whip Why: The whip allows you to jury rig the exit switch thus giving you time to hide in case the killer intends to ambush you while you hold the switch. The door will take 20% longer to open due to the jury rig. 4. Broken watch Why: This is a nod to the most op item in the original game. The watch allowed you to freeze time for a short while but the entity would never allow such a thing in the trials. What it does instead is allow regression on all generators to be halted for 20 seconds when one is completed.

This is me going on a ramble but i truly believe the survivor is going to br Alucard. If BHVR was going to adapt one of the Castlevania games it would be SoTN for multiple reasons. We can assume Dracula's design would be pulled from that game, so many iconic lines, overall popular game. Not only that but given Alucard is Dracula's son he has a bigger connection than a Belmont. Plus whenever Konami does Castlevania collabs Alucard seems to always be included one way or another so he's practically guaranteed. I also have this other theory that we might get two survivors because once again whenever Konami uses Castlevania with colabs two characters are usually involved. So there is a slim chance that we may get Alucard and someone else, probably either Maria, Richter or maybe even Trevor. But that's just my take (Edit: I should probably add that SoTN really honed in on the lore of Dracula and his family life. It would be hard to adapt Castlevania into a chapter without mentioning Lisa and Alucard both)

Your reaction was already priceless, but god imagine what your reaction would have been if Castlevania wasn’t leaked beforehand. Like I can only imagine you would lose your voice from shock and excitement lmao.

I personally want Shanoa from Order of Ecclesia as a survivor. While every other entry listed in the video is far more iconic, more popular, or has stronger ties to Dracula, I think they suffer from the "Resident Evil 5 Chris Redfield" problem where those characters are just very powerful to reasonably fit in Dead by Daylight. There is a reason why the survivors chosen for the Resident Evil chapter and the Project W chapter were Jill Valentine taken from RE3 and Leon Kennedy taken from RE2, and Ada Wong from RE2 and Rebecca Chambers from RE1/RE0. Even though the Wesker they chose was RE5 Wesker, having a character as physical imposing as RE5 Chris Redfield would be very immersion breaking. I know everyone jokes about this now but BHVR went as far as to choose RE2 Leon over RE4 Leon despite RE4 Leon being the most popular depiction of him for several years, and would have likely been the most recognizable version of him. Even for the SAW chapter, it wasn't like BHVR had implemented John Kramer simply because he's so iconic in his franchise. Going back to Shanoa, she's a strong character but her as a survivor isn't going to be on the same level of immersion breaking as Simon or Richter Belmont or especially Alucard being stabbed by characters so narratively weak as Chucky or the Legion. Like yeah Dead by Daylight is a game and it follows its own logic, but BHVR has shown in the past that they're not going to always prioritize the most iconic depiction of a character from a franchise if it clashes with their own tone they've established in the game. And if you want to be kind of cynical about it, Shanoa is a very beautiful young woman and that type of character sells very well in any chapter release in this game. Maybe I'm wrong and BHVR brings back that red circle behind Vecna that they introduced when they added him and they still add Simon or Richter in the same way but with this red circle so that they can conveniently get these iconic characters added. Nonetheless I will always pray for Shanoa even though I think BHVR would probably given Simon or Richter the 'Vecna' treatment.
