It was quite the experience! Been a while since I did a video, so this was not something I'm super proud of (filming or editing). But hey, sometimes it's cool to just quickly edit and get something out there!

We had a hotel in San Carlos which is on the mainlaind. Took a boat from there to various places. I cannot remember many more details than that as it was a guided scuba trip, so I didn't plan any of it.

Yes! That time of year there's no reliable water source. If you find any, it's likely stagnant and not going to be good.

Yes, we had a large bear canister.. It is definitely needed! At one point, we walked away from camp for about 5 minutes with a dehydrated meal out and a Raven had already torn it to pieces and eaten some

I highly recommend it! Make sure to research everything in advance because the huts sell out pretty early in the year

Thanks! It was my first attempt at doing more of a film-like edit. It was a GoPro 4 and a Feiyu g4 gimbal. Ended up returning the gimbal because it was defective.

Congrats! The result is very good, and the site is amazing. Before I used the feiyu WG and I loved it. I'm also making cinematic videos of my hikes, it's a very entertaining vice! Welcome if you want to visit them!

I just checked the park website and it looks like they may have updated the map to be more clear. As long as you head to the triangle under CP1 in this map you should be fine. From what I remember, there didn't use to be the triangle and there was just that dot which was not even close. As long as you take the correct turn towards CP1 on the map, you'll be fine. Enjoy it! Hey! We did actually see a couple of decent sized puddles on the trail leading to Druid Arch which looked promising. But, I'd say that's pretty risky hoping to find water there. It was crappy carrying all that extra weight, but I would not recommend planning on finding water out there. If you do, it'll most likely be stagnant. In October there is probably even less chance of water being there. Enjoy your trip! We had an awesome time
