It was a garbage movie. I was excited at first when stuff started going down thinking it would be a windego or something but then several other things happened that made zero sense. It was so all over the place. The only thing i liked was the casting for the black actress.

Six on from this documentary and across the globe anti semitism is at its worst since the 1940s. The AfL are the rising political power in Germany, a far right fascist anti semitic organisation. Holocaust deniers polite the internet. It is difficult to stay positive about any change for the better given the circumstances.

Watched it tonight. Reminded me of the older 80s/90s paranormal horror I’ve seen. Didn’t care for the first third of the movie but as it went on I felt like it had some really good suspense which is so hard to get these days in modern horror flicks. SPOILERS****: the ending was a bit too sudden. Would liked to have seen something more than her just disappearing as the truck passed. Like if she stepped over the rail and gotten officially “out of the woods” where the evil entities were would she have survived? Would it continue after her? I was able to theorize most of what was going on but can’t come to a decision on what exactly happened in the end and if the truckers had anything to do with it. Also wish they’d have done a scene with Gaby after she decided to run and get help. The encounters they each have with the entity are really well done and what I find to be the most suspenseful. Gaby seemed like the tough one and wanted to see how the entity would have been with her since it seemed to enjoy toying around before making the kill. I liked how the evil played tricks on them and made them see things differently like with the girl banging on the door but them seeing her still on the road. The way it taunted them when yelling Michael’s name and the sound of the voices seeming to get more and more sinister (the way it went down to one voice and how it said his name the last time when Jason was walking around with the gun was creepy as fuck!). The scene with the car slowly coming at Chris was pretty tense too. After a while you realize it’s definitely some kind of demonic entity they’re dealing with, the red glowing eyes that appear as they take a shot and when they’re chatting (which earlier on you see the “tail lights reflection” go across the screen a couple times as they’re driving at night and looking back this seems like foreshadowing cause it’s just like it’s eyes). They’re just sitting ducks with no hope of rescue and you wonder each time it comes around what it’s going to do and how it’s going to toy with them before picking one off. Overall not a bad flick. It has the ol car broke down and won’t start, night time in woods, evil paranormal killer, etc elements which made for a good time. I liked it and will watch it again.

Incredible people to go though this, to survive and then to lift themselves up again and make something of themselves.. these people are an incredible inspiration.

I like the movie , like the idea of a movie, but watching it as a movie looks like not a movie.😅
