From 1988 till this day, there is a gentlemans agreement that any cars sold in japan (jdm) cannot reach over 276 hp. that was not broken until 2005? i forgot the date but somewhere then HONDA broke it. now, it could be stock from another country, but there was never any stock version/ stock engine which had 1000hp (and which was sold with the supra), so the Supra (mk4 and earlier, idk about mk5 but its probably the same) does not have stockly 1000hp
