I can see why some people would be disappointed getting essentially a Switch Pro after all these years, but that's exactly what I wanted. I am very disappointed that the Direct is in April, I wanted the launch in April.

Dude I completely agree, they absolutely did this to themselves by waiting this long. I also think they are childish enough to delay the release just so that they can say the leaks were wrong. I actually don't expect to see it tomorrow, even if that was their plan, because of the leaks. I wouldn't be surprised to see it early next week if the plan was tomorrow. I am absolutely dying to see it though, just get the show on the road Nintendo, everyone is sick of your sh** right now.

Microsoft is definitely going to be having games drop on all platforms. It would be their best bet. Their new console will release on every new cycle of the AMD APU . So that would be very 2 to 4 years. It is the best approach they could make.

This is probably the last console I'm ever going to get. But as someone with a large switch collection, just under 200 games, if it's not fully backwards compatible with the original switch carts, I'm out. I don't need anymore games, I'm happy with what I have and PC going forward. Either it's fully BC, or I'm out. I'm cool with either of the options.

I agree E3 is dead. Unfortunately I think it will have adverse effects when it comes to console sales as well games. Not sure how much the end results are it might be a 50/50 chance. I guess we will see in time.

I have a PS5 and Series X like yourself. To this day i have hardly touched the xbox. Starfield is the only exclusive i am looking forwards to right now. Hopefully it is good.

If starfield is 1440p at 30FPS on a Series S, It Should have a 1440P 60fps Mode on the powerful Series X. Todd howard is being stubborn! This is a cross gen looking game with stiff facial animations. These new Powerful consoles shouldnt have anymore 1st party 30fps titles. embarrassing.

Agreed. On all your points. The pacing of BoTW is a lot better for discoveries. I found myself bored with the underworld and feeling like I had to prioritize it over the the above ground areas. I actually stopped playing and began a new play through of BoTW. I'm currently almost half way through BoTW again.

I look at it this way to each their own on this game. I am sure there will be people that comment that will have a problem with your thoughts. It is what it is.

As a 20+years long zelda fan i absolutely agree. Mostly because i hoped the structure was more in a more structured way like ghost of tsushima/whitcher 3. Majora was made in a year and felt incredibly unique. Totk makes botw a redundant game. Also it should be called Ultrahand, tilt and fun, not zelda. It absolutely takes over the game, and i despise it. I can say BOTW at least felt more zelda in that sense, with the bombs and stuff. i feel this revolutionary mechanic needed its own IP, because that is like 80% of what they programmed in 5 years. And it shows, as you can do marvelous things people had not yet figured out...but Zelda is it not for me. Anyways you look gorgeous as always
