This band was all pedals and drums, and they just ran out of material. But I still love them, and I'm here in 2024

This is where I discovered Fuel. I’d never heard of them until the show and they blew me away. Been a fan ever since.

Oh the things I'd do to be there. Fuel as an opening act for Silverchair, damn that's unreal. My absolute favorite bands. Thank u so much for the upload. Now I'm daydreaming that they could have done a collab back then. So dope!! Such a bummer their setlist was so short though.

8:23 Notice how Suicidal Dream had alternate lyrics in the first verse: “Darkness in front of me” “Looking at the wall” “[Intelligible] …wondering” “[Intelligible, though the line does sound different]”

yeah, hard to tell. sounds like he's singing, darkness in front of me, looking out through a hole, tripping, wondering. if we can feel at all.

@@alexw5854 hot shit around 2000s! Monkey Kong and Hifi Serious were widely recognized albums. Nothing was their smash hit. they were still doing some music and gigs together before Corona but unfortunately without any new material. After album #4 "Teen dance ordinance" Jason Perry was more into producing over the last two decades, his twin Adam was a member of the bloodhound gang (so was Dan P Carter part-time) meanwhile, and Mark Chapman was paying guitar for some solo artists.

I found out about this band through the movie dandelion in 2009. I remember immediately finding all the albums on the internet and starting to listen. I loved them so much that all the time through high school I just listened to the doves. They threated me so much and are so ingenious. They don’t make music they make experience. I love them! And I had this video downloaded on some ruined cell phone, I remember playing this song 30 times while traveling home by bus. What memories this video evokes, damn!

Notice how everybody shut up during Faultline. I think it was partly because they all knew he was referring to the rare earth quake in Newcastle (where this was played) about a year before which killed people. (I heard his friend died in it)
