How happy are you guys with the rava over these 2 years in durability and comfort for the baby? Our baby is 8 months old so we are looking to upgrade to this one. I just want to make sure it's the right choice.

Oh my gosh yes! Thank you for your comment! We have since upgraded to the Revv since it rotates, but the Rava is still in a great condition! I love Nuna and their durability, comfort and functionality! I honestly wouldn’t buy any other brand!

Honestly I’m not sure! I just used the bottles it came with and then poured the milk into a bottle my baby used.

It looks like you can get extra NCVI bottles online at Walmart if you need them.

I just got mine in the mail today. I haven't had a baby in 10 years, so it's been a minute since i had to use a breast pump, but i always used manual pumps in the past. My only question is about the tube. I'm assuming the milk flows through the tube.... and since we can't sterilize or wash it, so in case of milk being leftover in the tubes, do we store it in the fridge between uses? Maybe I'm over thinking it, but I haven't used it, yet, and I didn't see anything about it in the instructions.

Hey! Great question! Thanks for commenting! The milk actually doesn’t flow through the tube! It’s just for air, that’s why you don’t want to get it wet. Milk goes from the flange directly into the bottle!

You all are so sweet and special for sharing your story. I just found out that I have a VCI last week. It surely has been a worrisome week and I am just praying I can continue with our sweet baby girl. Do you know what caused the large amount of bleeding? Such a scary time.

Hi! Thank you so much for your comment! I am sending good vibes your way! My friend actually had VCI around the same time as me and she delivered vaginally with no complications! I think knowing early definitely helps! I think what caused my bleeding was being on magnesium and Pitocin for 36 hours! I have since done some research and long term use of pitocin can really thin the blood! I also had preeclampsia so I think they may have had me on some blood thinners! Start telling yourself now that you and your baby are safe and healthy! The mind is so powerful!! How far along are you?

Can you sterilise all the parts that come in contact with milk in a steriliser (including duckbill and flange)?

Yes you can! It all comes apart so easy! Just don’t sterilize or get water in the tubes!

I haven’t tried that pump before but there is a setting where the pump can alternate between two suction patterns!

I would say you probably don’t have to clean it unless it gets moisture in it!

I just started pumping with this one and I don't get much milk come out at all. I'm using a size 21 do u think thats the wrong size for me?

I’m not sure if you are using the right size or not! I found a size guide online and it helped me find the right size! I would always try to sit up a little when I pumped to make sure the milk could come out! But messing around with the settings always helped me!

Yes! You just have to push both buttons on the sides so it might take two people! It’s easiest to take it out and switch it but you can do it when it’s installed!
