How can I best support you? That's the question that can improve everything:-)

She explained that self-care isn't just about bubble baths and relaxation, but it's more about having a support system and a mindset that helps us navigate our daily challenges effectively. Instead of thinking of self-care as a luxury for those with time and money, she suggests viewing it as a way to save time and improve decision-making. She also introduced the concept of "power pausing" to help us be more present and in control throughout the day. Definitely a new perspective on self-care that I found really valuable!

I just watched this incredible video where Jeanette and Steve have a deep and insightful conversation about authenticity, mental health, and the cost of pushing through challenges without taking care of yourself. They both share their personal experiences and insights into how pausing, listening, and being vulnerable can lead to greater well-being and authenticity. It's a thought-provoking discussion that really resonated with me. Highly recommend giving it a watch!

Great video! Thank you so much for the info on pausing. I have been using this tool for many years and it really works. It's one of those ideas that always works. Some good tools work maybe 90% of the the time or 95% of the time but the pause works 100% of the time for me. It's very powerful and simple. It's not always easy to remember in the heat of some life events but when applied it produces miracles! It really is life changing.

This is amazing I've been slowly learning these things myself. And that moment where you need to separate yourself and check in with yourself. Make sure everything's ok. And I've been talking with my friends about it and it's so amazing

Self Care is nonsense, it basically boils down to a blind narcissist jerking themselves off while the world burns around them... Take a Bubble Bath if you need to, but don't lay your hang ups on me and call it your own "Self-Care" Don't take the Mark of the Beast! (666)

Jeanette, I only stumbled across this video because I was looking for Blue's Clues content, and I'm so grateful to have discovered you. I'm going to buy your book - it genuinely seems to pinpoint something I've been trying to articulate for years and years. You speak with so much wisdom and eloquence; I truly hope to see more of you and your work.

I love that - thank you so much. Steve and I are fellow warriors in an effort to pause more so we can stay awake and mindful without the stress and worry. Thank you for tuning in.
