Focal flower is not placed on the top of the arrangement, it’s placed in the middle lower part of the arrangement, this arrangement as A viewer the focal point is the hydrangeas...that’s the first that caught my eyes ...beautiful arrangement..

Dear Sarah, It is not a good idea to remove all the foliage from the roses! The foliage is instrumental in pulling moisture up the stem to feed the flower.

One bunch of mums...bull shit..u have at least 2 colors of mums...and crocery store mums wont go that far.

Don't follow this ppl ! As No flower preservative in water and placements of stems in the water w/o re-cut to reopen the capillaries of flowers or foliage as well as Not removing foliage of any of them thus allowing them to sit unwater leading to accelerated ramped bacterial growth thus shortened vase life exponentially. But I guess Only you would know being as was covered by leaf wrap that you were directed to remove from your house plant .. Yeah so not Only shock your houseplant but also kill the floral work prematurely and have to throw it out do to the stench. Seriously DON'T FOLLOW those instructions !!

Of course the price you quote DOES NOT include the greenery you added. No professional floral designer would EVER leave roses out of water that long! This is one reason why supermarket roses don't last, folks! The next time you go to the grocery store to get flowers ask how to make your flowers last longer. Oh, wait...there's no one there...so they get someone from the courtesy counter and the only thing they MIGHT know how to do is blow up a balloon for your kid! Thank you Whole Foods for putting small florists out of business, while selling vegetables GROWN IN CHINA and NOT helping consumers win the fight to know the country of origin of the food they buy and eat. Way to go!!!

I believe not all customers have the same taste when it comes to flower arrangements or decorations. It may also depend on how it is presented and the kind of occasion. Who knew you could say so much with flowers, well beyond mere expressions of friendship, love, encouragement or sympathy.

floral arrangement is beautiful however, your insight on length of rose is not correct, customers do pay attention to the length of the rose...if you take a 60cm rose and trim it down to a 40cm or less...you still need to charge the right amount for 60 or 80cm roses because they are more expensive. ..customer won't understand or pay for the shortened roses because the impact of the arrangement is not as Grande as it is in a smaller/shorter stem...which results in. non sold roses or the florist losing money. Also, the amount of time spent between cutting the stems and putting them in water is too great..you have a 3 second window before an air pocket forms and can potentially prevent the flowers from drinking the water. I've been a florist (in a store/shop) for many years, just some extra insight from the other side of the spectrum. The design of the bouquet is well done.
