Ok, this dude has no clue so heres the proper procedure folks!! Ok, stay with me here, come down the aisle, soon as you are approaching your product, start raising your forks so that by the time you arrive at your product your forks are level with your pallet, as you are still moving forward, start your turn, turning your forks right into your pallet as you turn facing the racks, extend your forks as you are facing the pallet as you move toward the pallet, stopping and continuing your forks extending, nevermind no damn handbrake, no sense in putting that on while you are busy, lift the pallet up an inch or so, TILT your forks back at this point to secure the load and bring your forks back, start pulling out of the spot, turn once pallet has cleared the racks, accelerate while lowering your forks as you are moving, watching both where youre going AND your product as you lower it just an inch or so above the legs/feet of the lift!! DUHHHHH!! eaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasyyy money!

we have the exact same Linde reach truck at my work place. Great truck to drive. Way better than the Toyota BT Reflex.

No fucken way. Way way too close to the racking. WorkSafe would fail that. Total bS.

My apologies, but this is another one video from "the same source" with halfway information. Guys, from the get got you guys have to show where are the maneuvers. What would be the difference between a reach out, a stand up, a sit down, and in this case this one.
@NoelLezcano-hy4gt2 ай бұрын
My apologies Tony, but forget the most important part of this demonstration. Sadly speaking you did not showed the difference of where the maneuvers of this particular forklift are at . I've driven a few different types of forklifts and had never encounter this one. I was trying to know where they were located at in order to execute its driving. Thanks for the typical procedure of which applies generally speaking to all other forklifts.

Safest hi-lo driver/trainer I have seen. That is one fresh new hilo, judging from tires+paint job. Good job whoever placed the plastic barried to protect hi-lo and people walking near the area designated for hi-los. This new job doesn't even have a designated walk zone near hi-los. No walk lines nothing. Outdated.

This guy is good. Wish he was my instructor. I failed the forklift practical because of my steering 😔

Don't get me wrong, i never drive dangerously. I always put safety first. I drive at a level where I'm efficient without being a knob. Main thing is the pace you're working at and observations.

Good clear and precise training video. One thing you can always expect is to have some idiot walk behind or in front of you when your are moving with a load.

These actions are great when training someone. Ounce thier in a fast paced job all that doing it by da book goes out the window. The stopping dead b4 you rack nope. Raise and line up at same time. Safe never charges though. Be fast bur Safe.

something tells me if you do all this bullshit hand brake, look around , hand brake , look around , hand brake, hand brake bollocks you'd be out of a jobs before you could blink. No way warehouse work is that slow.

Under no circumstances should your forks be tilted back beyond level without a load. That being said, once you have a load, you tilt your forks back beyond level. It's called a load rest for a reason. DIRP.
