FOI Request: Masking Children Dumfries & Galloway Council unable to show authority (again) Aeons ago, back when men were men and fathers still had some testosterone about them, any schoolteacher attempting to force-mask people’s children would have seen the wrong end of a good, old-fashioned pummelling, up and down the school playground in full public view until he thought better of the idea. However, while this almost medieval notion of fatherhood-with-integrity may seem like something from a bygone, days-of-yore period drama, it was but one generation ago. How times have changed. Despite being granted multiple opportunities now, Dumfries & Galloway Council have once again come up short in a Freedom of Information Request asking for the source of their authority to force mask children within D&G schools. Here at the DoD we believe this is child abuse and that DGC employees are guilty of the physical and psychological trauma and abuse of innocents that will last a lifetime - for which we will ensure they are held to account - and that DGC have caused more damage to children than Covid ever could. It was never acceptable at any point regardless of any supposed ‘authority’, but despite DGC leader Elaine Murray (pictured left) and other council executives having been provided with much evidence to show the harms caused by masking children, they have continued regardless. The fact that they never had any permission or authority to do so makes their actions all the more criminal but, being fair minded and granting DGC yet another opportunity to dig their hole of complicity even deeper, DoD has requested a review: Dear DGC FOI Unit, Please carry out an internal review of this FOI as, while I believe you may have been truthful with regards to Q's 1-3 (ie, no source of authority or permission to force other people's children to wear a mask), Q4 could have been a little bit clearer and answered more appropriately to the question that was asked. Therefore, please provide further comment with regards to Q4: In your response you state: "The Council has complied with all appropriate local and national regulations and guidance from the Scottish Government in connection with the matters that have been raised and refutes any contention to the contrary" whilst simultaneously admitting none of Dumfries and Galloway Council's employees have ever been handed the authority to force other people's children to wear a mask. Looks fantastic I think. For 40 or 50 years folk have bleated on about the Whitesands flooding and scorned every suggestion that came along. Oh this'll no work etc etc blah blah. Armageddon will follow etc etc Well, why don't you all just belt up? I have no problem getting parking in Dumfries, there is also no traffic problem! From 08:30 to around 09:15 and 14:30 until 15:30 there is a build up as a result of school traffic maybe. How do I know this? Because during school holidays I can go from my home, a few miles south on the A75 to the North West of Dumfries in 10 minutes. 4 miles maybe? That is a luxury that a majority of "Doonhamers" do not understand, or appreciate, in my opinion!
