Great to see this - you put into words very well some of the same concerns about Elliotts MO as well as the ‘substance’ of his teaching… I was on board with him until he took a hard right-wing turn a couple of years back… I wonder (aloud:) if something traumatic happened to him that sent him into a much more fundamental/reactionary direction. The blackpill is really not so much about just giving up on everything. The blackpill is not concerned with what you do with your knowledge. It is just about the knowledge itself. Of course the people who are going to find out about the uncanny truths in this world weren't dealt the best cards in life. If you are fortunate and do not miss anything or show no interest, then you have no incentive to study and learn about the subject. Cels see themselves in a compromising position with a society that clearly lacks a sense of reality when it comes to dating. Most people actually still believe, that beauty is subjective and personality is all that matters in life. And of course when your life itself proves those very statements wrong and creates a harsh contrast between your reality and the one presented to you by the majority, you are inclined to search for the causes of this discrepancy. And that is the blackpill. No hate of women. No hate of LGBTQ. Nor right or left wing politically. Just a continued search for truth in life, finding answers even if they are not in favour of humanity. Just like former philosophers weren't the people with the most stable lifes (think of Nietsche or Darwin) Cels are the only ones who can look at relationships and the world in a more realistic way. But what's your opinion? Do you still think blackpill is all about giving up on life? Have you had any major successes with cold approaching? (I mean a long term committed relationship for +6 years). I'm really curious.
