All in ones are like a disposable, there's no stuffing or snapping inserts involved, its all sewn in :)

The microfiber is supposed to go down, not toward the skin. This also stops it from moving around.

Thank you for this comment. More people need to see it. I found out I was using the inserts wrong. My baby was getting rashes so I started using prefolds with them. I didn't like that because it made them super bulky. Now all I have to do is flip them.

Is it newborn flip cover....Please reply mam
@theurzamachine11 ай бұрын
They only have 1 size. It's adjustable for 8-35 pounds. All the snap buttons in the front help it go from a larger diaper cover to a smaller one.

What do you do about the odor? If I use the cover more than once, or even just once, they stink!
@t2motherhood5855 жыл бұрын
Martha Sarai Frost they should not stink! Are you saying that the covers always get soiled each time you use them? Or just that the covers stink in general? If so, you probably need to strip them.
@saraihfrost5 жыл бұрын
They don't smell when they are freshly washed, but after they get soiled, they have a strong smell that becomes more apparent the less layers of clothing my baby's wearing. It's even worse in the morning because he wears the same diaper over night. It's been like this from the very beginning when they were brand new. I've only been cloth diapering for about 2 months.
@clothyoriginal4 жыл бұрын
Could be ammonia build up. Or when diapers smell clean out of the wash but smell as soon as baby pees that usually means insufficient washing routine.

What’s a snappy?
@mollyb4695 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing :) I'm sure you have an answer by now, but a Snappy is what you use on the pre-folds instead of a safety pin :) Here is a link to some on Amazon. www.amazon.com/Toddler-3-Pack-Snappi-Diaper-Fasteners/dp/B071G6FXGK/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=cloth+diaper+snappyy&qid=1552943313&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spell-spons&psc=1

What brand are the pre fold ?
@mollyb4695 жыл бұрын
Again, I'm sure you have an answer by now, but they look like Green Mountain pre-folds. They color code the stitching around the sides so you know what size you're grabbing. Pretty cool! www.greenmountaindiapers.com/products/cloth-eez-prefold-diapers-unbleached?variant=28007718856

To clarify the discounts: On Tuesdays my Goodwill does Green and Yellow Tag discounts of 50% off and 30% off. Most of what I purchased were those colored tags. On TOP of that I also got 15% off of everything AFTER the tag discounts! :) Double dipping is the best way to go for any type of sale and is the way that I grocery shop too!

I’m hoping the smart bottoms work enough for us. I found 4 hardly used smart bottom newborn diaper for $9 a diaper. I’m on the fence about getting some blueberry newborns because I can’t find any used. This is our last baby so I’m trying to spend no more than $200 on newborn AIO diapers. I’m not sure getting them is worth it at this point. I really want to but if my baby doesn’t use them more than a few weeks I’ll be disappointed. My first baby was small and didn’t fit OS until 5-6 months.
@t2motherhood5857 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Yes, it can be difficult deciding what is most cost effective if you aren't having more kiddos. But I do agree that the OS are just HUGE for quite a few months! Which is why I decided to get the newborns for my 2nd child. Most I got off of FB cloth diaper sale pages. I asked them a ton of questions about how they washed/cared for them and then stripped them when I got them. $9 sounds pretty good for the smart bottoms! My simplex lasted at LEAST 3 months longer then the Smart Bottoms so if you are going to buy anything new I would make it the Newborn Simplex. Maybe add them to a diaper registry?

are you sure the inside of the diaper is microfiber? as you should not use microfiber next to the skin, i think it is microfleece.

Do you use smart bottoms all in one, one size diapers? If so do you like them?
@t2motherhood5857 жыл бұрын
Hello! I have personally never used the one size. I have only used the newborn ones. They seem to have the cutest prints don't they? Unfortunately the newborn didn't work well for my baby so I never bought the one size ones. I'm not opposed to trying it out-they are just one of the most expensive diapers out there. I also don't love that you have to snap in and unsnap the insert- it's a lot of extra time when you are trying to wash and put away 30 diapers- and also when you are spraying them down.

Great job! I also LOOOOOOVED my newborn simplex so much I bought the one size simplex. Liked my Thirsties, my daughter outgrew the absorbency super fast and the smart bottoms only lasted for about 5 minutes, then they were too small. Love all those prints, I just bought the Charlotte in the one size... currently prepping it for the millionth time 😁

It's amazing how much water you can use just prepping new diapers! I hear ya! My cost consolation overall is knowing that many babies will use these diapers in our family and overtime it will be it will be pennies compared to buying disposables- especially once you are done purchasing your stash!
