Good information about how to configure North South traffic from a VPC through a firewall. This configuration does not work for East-West traffic. As already mentioned, when the traffic from VPC1 going to VPC 2 hits the VPC3 LAN routing table from the Transit Gateway it will route back to the Transit Gateway not to the firewall because of the more specific route being used. Your video even showed this behavior when you reviewed the Reachability Analyzer between VPC1 and VPC2.

Sir I have a doubt, so when you tried to reach KZbin the session was created and threeway handshake was also done, the at SSL level traffic was dropped, right. So question is when do we encounter session zero ? Is it that the first package is malicious or fragmentation issues or TCP header issue or something else.

It seems the TGW-FG-VPC route table is not allowing EAST-WEST traffic via firewall as it had default and specfic once traffic reached from VPC-A it automatically steering back to specific destinaion VPC. what should i do
