I've the exact same bike loving it only passed test in August there so you have a link or full name of the crash protection you put and is there anywhere else crash protection can be added on the bike

I've been riding for 16 years cruisers/sport bikes. Just got a ninja 650 and I'm changing a lot of stuff on it. Looking at a lot of videos, but yours so far was most informative. Keep em coming.

Can lower the bike with shorter shock springs. The front forks can be pushed up through the triple trees. Just experiment and realize your bike will also be easy to scrape when you have lowered it. Can change or modify your seat.

You are quite right, on the forums and in my case, when the 12v does the car has been unlocked. But now I’m curious and I will find out :)

Not really well done! Sometimes it's very dangerous, when you don't put off at FIRST THE NEGATIV Pole!!! Every work at ekectricities put off the negativ pole, so it's shure when you touch the ground with metal or other things.... Best wishes, Peter

Finally!!!! I bought one of these 4 years ago to permanently fix to my bike. Because I couldn't figure out how (and I already had a battery charger as I'm terrible with turning lights off etc). No-one told me about the alligator clips coming apart. You have rocked my world and I'm so grateful.

I had R&G sliders on my z650 and the bolt on the left side snapped in half from normal road riding and left half the bolt still on the engine with the captive nut so it couldn't be removed. My local Kawasaki dealer said it might be a engine remove job and cost a decent amount. Luckily the mechanic just used a Dremel on the bolt end and managed to get it out. But it made a bit of a mess of the engine and the metal captive area. Replaced both with factory engine bolts. If you look at Kawasaki's own genuine frame sliders they don't remove the factory bolt. Was the previous owner who got them installed but after that I will never put anything R&G on my motorcycles. Cheap tat as far as I'm concerned. I've had 4 R&G tail tidys in total snap on my old zx6rs and 10r. Replaced both with oem fenders and they never broke once. I've seen several others with failing frame slider bolts on forums. Stay well clear of anything aftermarket of critical bolts ect

I've got the same bike and also returned to biking recently. Mine has black wheels so it's nice to see your green wheels as I was thinking of getting mine powdercoated green as the paint is bubbling on the rim and Kawasaki don't want to know about it. Nice to see other female bikers living their best lives 🙌

I’m a short rider , I ride cruisers , most are nice and low . Harley used to do a super low sportster . Triumph Speedmaster was another low cruiser I had and was great .cruisers are more than capable of keeping up with everyday traffic and very easy to ride at lower speeds .

The super low Sportster only placed a lowering kit in front forks ( shorter springs and less spacer). A real poor effort from Harley.

"You can close and lock it from here" serious Q, can she? Can she reach? That button would have been better placed on the side of the boot not the part that lifts? Or is there a button on the remote to control it?

True, it is a stretch for me at only 5ft (152cm), but there are other options, a button on the key fob and also one on the inside by the steering wheel

i really want to have my own bigbike but im struggling with my height hahah im only 5.3" ... and the bike that i want is soo heavyyyyyyyyy
@mrszedrunner2050
@mrszedrunner2050 Жыл бұрын
The height of the bike makes it heavier, as you can’t maximise the big muscles in your legs. Try making an artificial floor which would make the bike seem lower, and you will see how different the weight feels. I don’t struggle at all with my Z650, which has a kerbside weight of 191kg

Nice video! I'm 155cm tall with shorter legs than average, so it's nice to see actual short women rider doing videos! I have a Z650 as well that I was lucky to find almost new from a lady as tall as me! So it was already lowered and with the lower seat from Kawasaki. I was also lucky to have a rider friend who drove me around to different dealers to sit on bikes and see what would fit! I found out that I would not have much choice, either a Z650 or a Honda rebel 500. The latter not being my style, not available in the used market around me and having a wait time of at least 2 months for a new model, I didn't have much choice left. Thankfully it was for the bike I liked the most!

Hi, I’ve just bought the z650 & had it lowered (I’m 5’1”). How much was the lowered seat? Did you adjust your side stand?
@mrszedrunner2050
@mrszedrunner2050 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I had the seat and suspension links done at the same time for one price, the seat from memory was around £200. But you can go to specialist fabricators to make one for you, price will be about the same though. I haven’t yet adjusted the stand but I will do as she is a little upright in my opinion.
