I grew up in Little Compton RI. On the beach in highschool some kids would drive their 4X4 trucks on the beach. When they got them stuck an old guy would show up with a forward control just like yours. His price would go up as the tide came in! He could always pull them out!

I love the idea of having this on both sides, on fotr the clutch as well. That is how I stumbled across this design feature of a internal mech, wanting to outfit my clutch with a throttle style cable.

I dont think that will work. Clutch takes way too much pressure. I had to put a super light spring on this one to get it to run smoothly.

I like it. Very cool. The Tecumseh 2 1/2 is a great engine for the size! Not a real fan of the rascal. Awesome job with the Clinton. Yeah, i do the same thing. Well yeah, what mini-bike brakes really worked anyway! Nice collection That would be awesome, the go-karts! Am looking for one, also.

With batteries on a gas motor. I need an alternater and regulate to maintain the matter charge while riding it without those your gonna eat up battery s especially in cold winter and hot summer if it sits . Id just do the old pull or get a kick star kit

A little old guy with a Jeep like yours would be available to tow them out of the surf. His price went up the longer you waited spinning wheels as the tide came in to claim your truck. He could always pull them out!

Very nice machine you made. I've been looking to make my own utility mini bike and I keep coming back to this design. Mine won't have any suspension but the tires will be bigger.

Thanks yes a bigger and grippier front tire would be better. This bike is a little long and it becomes a bit unstable when i put too much weight on it but its great for chainsaws and stuff. And I wouldnt want the seat any higher. But it was my favorite bike for a few years I rode it almost every day. Good luck with yours

The engine bolt down pattern is vertical ! How do you mount it horizontal ?

Two strong tabs to mount to the original holes on the clutch side and on the shroud side I welded mounts onto the shroud backing plate its plenty strong
