I want his side of the story just like we got Olivias'. His childhood, what made him the way he is. When he was defining his mother, he was talking about a female version of his own self. Frivolous, self-indulgent, narcissistic and beautiful. He is all that.

@@malshiwanagasooriya3145 exactly. The way he speaks of his mother with both wonder and disgust really makes me think she sexually abused him in some form. Perhaps that’s why she left. Maybe she didn’t run off. Maybe Garland came back and found out was happening and forced her out. That could be a lot of the distance between Garland and Malcolm. Garland stayed away bc of guilt of allowing that to happen to Malcolm, and Malcolm was angry bc he thinks Garland is why his mother ran away.

@@MaryVelegol It was beautifully done. I loved Lucky’s reaction. I’m looking forward to seeing more of these types of scenes between these two characters. It’s very reminiscent of Lucky’s relationship with Luke.

@@CNVRSKDAJW They’ll always have my heart. It’s more nuanced in the book but still very much there. Ritchie even goes in after the book to get another partner for his act who looks remarkably like Eddie. 💔

My favorite part is when the clown advances on them as kids you can see Ritchie forcing Eddie to look at him and not Pennywise. If this is going to be his last moments, Ritchie is facing his ‘biggest fear’ and making sure that the last thing Eddie sees is Ritchie’s face. He wants him to not die terrified. He loves him more than he fears pennywise.
