Is the t-shaped splitter valve supposed to be very loose - the new hose connector (to be facing outward) real loose from the part that connects to the toilet tank?

Both parts should have the same thread pitch and not spin freely. After using the teflon tape on the threads, it should be very snug

Just purchased my FlexFit chair from Staples Canada as well. Printed instructions were pretty sparse but I found you on KZbin, and your video instruction was great! I'm sitting in it as I key this in. Would have been quicker to pay Staples the $20.00 build cost but at least with your help I managed it. The hardest part was getting the plastic wheels on. On the second wheel try I put on leather gloves to protect my soft salesman skin. Worked better that way. 😏

@@TechnoYou yes, i use the shortest attachment to make all the hair one length. Then i use no guard for around the edge. Then i finish with razor to make it skin tight

I just had this seat installed and noticed that the bidet handle is leaking at the juncture between the part that turns and the stationary base. This happens anytime the toilet is flushed. Not sure if there was a problem with the installation or if the bidet is faulty. Suggestions?

Unfortunately it sounds like your unit may be faulty. I dont remember there being any adjustment pieces in the handle. Maybe Kohler customer support can help. Good luck!

I’m thinking of getting this but I can’t find any compatibility charts. I have the K-3434BB Rosario toilet bowl which is one piece. I’m concerned about the bidet housing is too large to fit. Any experience with that bowl? Great video. I always learn so much from YT.

When i looked into getting a bidet, it looks like toilet sizes are standard sized and either a round hole or oval seat hole (unless you order a custom toilet for specific use). If you order the same shape seat that you have now (round or oval), it should fit

Wondering if you tried this. We have a similar 1-piece toilet and the seat fits alright. But the angle of the hose where it attaches to the seat creates a bend that cuts slightly into the water flow. Looking for a work around.

@@donaldosborne2376⁠I did try it and had to return it. The seat could not lay flush, no pun intended, because the bidet arm was way too close to the back and side of the bowl. I could not make it work. If the attachment was able to slide out it would have been perfect. Apparently my particular bowl is not compatible with much. It’s old so I’m using the Luxe Bidet for now. Good luck.

@@donaldosborne2376 the angle of the L connector that feeds into the bidet can be rotated. Loosen it, change the direction it is pointing, and retighten

Question : Why the need to filter toilet water??? I wouldn't even filter water from a well, as it's literally going down the toilet (no pum intended a filter just doesn't seem necessary, in my humble opinion

When construction or flooding happens, sediments can run through your plumbing straight into your house. Sometimes the water in your tap will turn brown and you'll see a bunch of sediment come through the line. If you want to disassemble then remove a pre-installed filter designed to protect both your bidet and yourself from having sediment shot up your bumhole, thats entirely up to you.

Before you buy anything or take anything apart, try to line up the pieces and see if it will work with your existing hardware. It is possible that it may fit

not impressed for the money. it seems only good for being a portable voice recording and non professional work. music no way. it lacks color. also it has way too much noise. Can't even compare to the D10.

Thank you for such an in-depth video. Some videos will show pictures of "this is what the t-valve looks like AFTER it has been installed" but you show the actual installation of it and explain about the Teflon tape, etc. very throrough.

Mmm I'm not sure about that 'hand tight only' idea on a pressurised water connector, think I'd have nipped it up with the adjustable wrench to be sure 😊

Free to tighten as you like. Just a fair warning because the plastic pieces tend to have hairline fractures and leak due to over tightening. Just a fair warning. Enjoy!

If I'm going to get the Panasonic HC-X1500 camcorder to document life, record walking tour, KZbin product review with me at front and also back of the camcorder and also want to try to make music with record singing and instruments too, should I get Sennheiser MKE 440 or I should just get Sony A10 which has on-board mic and is a recorder too and should I get a seperate mic for singing and instruments, any recommendations? Does the quality of these mics on them different a lot you think? is 32 bits necessary?

Thank you for the video. I was dreading installing this, but it took me no time at all with your step by step video. I found it easier to apply the teflon tape on the splitter T prior to putting it on. I didn't have a lot of room. Easy peasy!

Looks very sleek and sounds nice. There is definitely prominent noise when recording quieter sounds. Easily removable but not ideal

So I've got it all hooked up correctly. But for some reason when it is hooked up the connection to the water valve itself will leak enough to notice and doesn't seem to leak when the line is just connected to the toilet tank itself. I'm unsure what to actually do about it. The valve connection is similar to your setup with the exception being my spout is pointed down as your example the spout is pointed up. I attempted to take the line off by hand but it was pretty tight, But I'm not sure if I should take it off at all. I was thinking if I did that, maybe I could put teflon tape on the spout and then place the line back on to see if that might be the reason. Any advice would be super helpful. 🤷‍♂

I would definitely add teflon tape. Sounds like there is a leak through the threads. (Direction of the valve doesn't matter if sealed properly). If teflon tape doesnt fix the leak, you may have a faulty hardware and would request exchanging it. Hope that fixes your issue, good luck!

I want to record drum covers. Do you recommend this one? I have an am7 mic condenser for cell phone. Can i plugging in the pcm and better the sound?

This would be a good option because you can set the XY mic direction to record the whole room for a more full sound. However, it will be tricky because the music from the drums will be coming in from different areas and angles. It will help a lot if your room is padded to isolate noise and remove reverb/echo. Otherwise it will not be a clean sound
