Good reaction video but.. you can't judge only by watching one and the very first episode. Also, the actors on this show were amateur, they were hired for this show right after graduating from the university. There is some non-professional acting in the very first two episodes, but they do just incredibly fine later in the show. It's just that the more you watch, the better it gets.

I have all three seasons. Let me tell you, I really thought Hair Jordan's mom was lowkey racist. She was one of the judges on the final episode of Season 2 and she never voted for the black guys even though their opponents got booed because of their bad jokes.

I Love how the 'dudes' were like "Dude! We got a strike!" On the helicopter and they literally knocked all but one over and then swung around to hit the last one, you didn't get a strike you picked up a spare 😂 (definitely not a bowling expert)

You’re right the show didn’t kill anybody however there was one contestant who actually sued Dick Clark productions after his appearance on the show because he was hospitalized due to hypothermia so he sued Dick Clark productions for $100,000 and one on top of the $20,000 he won during gameplay

It's one of the best Nick shows and I wish they did a High School and even College version

Supposedly they taped 3 more episodes that never aired. No confirmations but the idea is once someone cleared all 7 levels of a chamber, they'd "retire" that chamber. Can you imagine what else they would have come up with? They did plug on the show that future contestant would face "electric shocks", "insects" and "water torture". Good thing they stopped when they did. They also did do much testing because it got rushed to air trying to beat a show on ABC called "The Chair" (which looks tame by comparison). A backstage story goes that at one taping the hot chamber malfunctioned and caught fire trapping the contestant inside. They managed to put it out and save the contestant from injury, they gave her all the money she had earned to that point, but made them restart. Compliances & Practices was clearly asleep on the job while this show was in production.

The funny thing about this to me is I’m from The Bronx. I was born and raised in Throggs Neck, and I’ve since moved to Morris Park. This summer will make 4 years since I’ve moved across town. And of course just randomly surfing KZbin this ancient show I remember I used to watch religiously being reacted to by two guys pops up in my feed. And it did not disappoint. Subscribed
