this guy "MICHAEL SAVES" does a better video explaining how to do it.. what your video here shows using a paint brush. the instructions on the bottle i have doesn't mention anything about using a paint brush..SEARCH FOR "MICHAEL SAVES" i trie posting the link but that didn't work

Mapei doesn't seem to be very consistent in the mix of the grout in their videos. This stuff almost looks like he's spreading water around, in another MAPEI video the consistency is much thicker.

How long I need to wait to paint?

Product is terrible. Dries on surface of tile but wipes out of joints leaving rough uneven grout lines. I will never use Mapei again

Excellent product. Easy to use, very consistent color and texture.

Love the shape, it’s more flat and easier to cut and handle then some of the other brands membranes.

I’m very interested in the easy level clip cap, are they compatible with QEP Lash 360 leveling clips from Home Depot? If they are I’ll toss out all my spin caps and order 1000 Mapei click caps.

Just bought some. I swear it set up less than a minute. I look at this guy on the video using it and the consistancy of his grout is far looser than mine. I have to really force it into my 1/4" grout lines and this guy is just sweeping it in like its nothing. Maybe my product went bad sitting on the store shelf. Its been hellish to remove the grout haze.

This stuff is nothing more than a latex type paint for your grout, the directions no matter where you look are not specific enough stating things like “just wipe it up” I’m not new to diy but if you follow the defections you will be reapplying it as it strips off just like latex paint. Will be stripping it and looking for a better option.

Excellent video! Very helpful. Now I clearly understand the difference between water and solvent based penetrating sealers. I have a flagstone fireplace topped with a quartz mantle with glazed porcelain tile on either side. Expect to use the solvent based SB Stone sealer on the flagstone & quartz and only on the grout line of the glazed porcelain tile.

This is NOT easy to instal. followed all instruction well prepared correct thinset mix. Trowelled with 3/16 notch trowed. It created uneven floor with bumps. They only show you easy rectangular cuts but try lay it with L cuts under vanity kick panel if you don't get it exactly at the right place first time it will stick like glue and trying to move after it contacted thinset will create bumps impossible to lay flat. None of this is explained in the install manual. Very tricky to instal unless you room is perfectly rectangular. The instruction are extremely poorly written.

We are interested in the Flexcolor CQ but the colors we found "mint" is no longer sold. We're looking for a light blue but can't find any. Is it possible to mix two Flexcolor CQ grouts to achieve another color?

Just finished using this grout and the glue haze just won't come off. I've used this multiple times and it's never been easy to use. Now I have to buy a chemical haze remover to finish. Would never recommend this product. In fact, I wouldn't recommend any pre mixed grout. Especially this one.

The tech sheet says that the surface can not be glass like. I had self leveling put down and it is very smooth but it is porous as a pour drops of water on it and they disapeared in seconds. I do not have the ability to scarrify. Can I still use this product?

“Level is desired, but Flat is required”. With any of these Mapei products, you get BOTH!

Used mapei ultra color plus fa and after curing, the grout comes out with medium agitation with a fingernail. Tried 2 test samples 3:1 and seemed a little better but still was able to make a groove with fingernail with same pressure just more agitation. Not expired and not opened prior to install Thoughts on this ?
