It’s funny seeing these combo “meta” decks get shut down by a “can’t be destroyed in battle” gimmick card.

I know this is over 2 years old but I would so add aroma jor into this, once flipped it can't be destroyed by battle and at the end of both players turn you get 500LP and have 3, then that is 1500 every time someone ends there turning

I ran a deck like this back in the TCG in 2007. Solemn, using IFL to attack, Draining Shield, Neo Spacian Hummingbird, and Solar Flare Dragon being brought out by UFO Turtle and abusing Mystic Tomato to mill out Giant Germ. I had two win conditions: Agent via Mars and Saturn, and deck out using Card Destruction and other such cards. I managed 43k LP in a duel at a locals and then burned them to death with Saturns' effect

I made a deck VERY similar to this recently and tried to make it competively viable. It will win 60%+ , but certain matchups you will always loose (danger darkworld). I have 2 versions of this. 1) stop your opponent from attacking with continuous spells/traps and burn them to death with cauldron. Or 2)use spells/traps to stop your opponents summons so they can’t setup a board, and burn them to death with cauldron. Try making the first deck tho, I think you will like it. Key cards: level limit area B, messenger of peace, Ordeal of a traveler, Aroma jar, dark sanctuary, and fossil dyna. Plus, since you’re not special summoning yourself, you can run cards like: Pot of Duality, Card of Demise, Card car D, pot of Extravagense. But the main point of this is you put down walls to stop them from killing you, eventually they have to run out of removal and then you win XD

I love decks like this because right now the meta is just summon a bunch of stuff and it's boring as hell for a old school player like me. There's no back and forth and sometimes matches end in 2 turns. 17 years ago I would get butt hurt when a duel would last only 5 turns! So looks like I'll have to modify it a little cuz some cards are limited now but my insanity will make it work

Aye i gotta say before the match starts, thats a nasty deck and i havent played since the egyptian god cards were being played by everyone who had fakes. I learned a little from the blue eyes upgraded deck with the handmaden deck but damn is it good to see a yugi vs a kaiba and win again.
