Sea Wind are crap!! no spares available here in NZ. Been waiting for a year and a half for blue pipe replacement. I have two of these boats and have given up on them. Now racing DF95 and no problems spares wise. Also DF95 do not leak like the Seawind. Seawinds are hopeless going down wind in a blow. Bow goes down and rudder comes out of the water. Avoid like the Plaque..

Hi, wonderful to see this. I was lucky enough to have been involved in building a Kantola 42 in the early 1970,s close to Venus beach. Other Kantolas being built close to us was another 42 named Mantra and a 50+ footer we called the floating hotel. Ours was named Pendragon. Great memories, great boats, great designer. Thanks

Nice job unwrapping . What radio frequencies does it come with. So that a number of boats can be on the water at the same time. Can u buy extra radio frequencies ? What about spares, can you buy these as well.

have noticed your comments on boatdesign dot net Forum. Its difficult to get any infos about the multihul designer Jay Kantola as it as been far before the Internet era. Great to see you have built this boat on your own... What happened with Jazz ?? Is she still sailing safely ? - Hope you are doing well with your RV life and dont miss too heavily cruising sailing :-)

Did you build this yourself? My Dad used to have a Kantola when we are younger and looking for another but it seems impossible to find. He has the plans for his original and have been looking for a reliable builder, or one for sale. This is a beautiful boat! Nice work!
