Please, just a question, as one who hates linguistic tones, I was worried that some Latvian dialects make use of them but fortunately the official doesn't or I would have to give up trying to learn it. Does Latgalian have (phonemic, i.e. distinguishing words) tones? I have only found some basic sentences on an English language site, I guess there are not teaching handbooks in English yet for it. Could you please start a site in English teaching it? I could be just the basics of the language so as to allow us to compare it with official Latvian, it would be already something and certainly way better than just the few phrases available on that site I mentioned.

@_ Andrius I don't know why I can't find your comments with the links to the three other songs you've sent me, they appear on the messages on the upper right hand column when we click on the bell but not here on this page. I can read that one is named 'I know, I know, my father's home but I couldn't find it on a search here nor' try to copy their links cause, when I try to pass the mouse on them, the page jumps to other messages. KZbin is full of such glitches. If it's not asking you too much, could you try post those three links on this thread? Perhaps they would be accessible from this one.
