If that venue was North of the Border ..the crowd would have been going ballistic.... and,,,dare ...I say full of one of Scotlands finest products ...after the venue...marching on London English born and bread...but Big Country along with the more gentler tones of Runrig in comparison to Big Country....does make me think?????...do I have some unknown Scottish ancenstry my family have kept hidden away???...je ne sais pas...as the French would say ...where I know live ...but...I do love the sound of the Bag Pipes !!!!!!!

I saw The Alarm at the Livingroom in Providence (and still have the pics) the night after I saw them open for U2 at the Civic Center for the War Tour. Mike Peters got me and my friends into the Livingroom...we were 16-17 yrs old. The bouncer said no and, just then, Mike Peters walked out the door and I said to him 'Hey, they won't let us in.' Mike looked at the bouncer and said 'Why not?' And he let us in. It was an epic night. I'll never forget it.

I wouldn’t call myself a super fan of The Alarm, yet I’ve seen them probably nearly 30 times over the years and have had the same Alarm poster on the wall in each house I’ve lived in since 1985…..

Wiff is cursing me as I'm singing quietly to this whilst she watches TV. Irony is that, currently, its the only The Alarm track that she knows!

A drummer & someone else playing drums & both together They still Can't Play it & I've been saying it for ages that guitarist might be good player But isv100% wrong for band like this his sound is totally wrong & anyone that saw TOH 82 or before especially will know & 100% agree with me

It's not REALLY The Stranglers without Hugh, Dave or Jet. It's basically JJB and some friends playing Stranglers' covers. Just like The Skids and Big Country aren't The Skids and Big Country with so many missing members.
