Many people are intimidated because they think baking bread has to be so complicated or requires a 400$ stand mixer. All you really need is flour water yeast and good old elbow grease

Came back to agree again, there were no Kitchen aid stand mixers when bread was being made in the olden days LOL. I do want a kitchen aid though.. there’s an ice cream maker thingy 🤣

Yeah or you could just put the dough in a regular bowl with a wet cloth on top and let it proof. You've never needed a proofing basket

I usually do it in bowls, but recently I just got the idea to use a paper towel. Use an UNBLEACHED paper towel

I LOVE making my own butter !!! I used to take turns shaking the container with my husband but I use my stand mixer now. It tastes so good and it’s so rewarding !!!

My mother in law taught me this truck !! The cold metal knife absorbs the heat from the grease. That way your cold glass jar won’t crack when you pour the oil in!!
