Is he throwing it from behind her so that she has to extend her contact point to meet the ball?

This aid could be good to teach someone shoulder rotation in forehand.

Wonderful, always innovating! What also helps the player on fast incoming balls is to have a mindset of "redirecting" the ball away rather than "hitting" which they always have by default. This board can also be used to help the player feel how to redirect the ball away and seeing that there is no need to "hit" the ball, there is enough power already coming out.

HMMMMMMMMM.... I think I'll be watching this over & over & over until it "sticks", THEN I'm going to try it on both myself (61) and my granddaughter (6.1) :-)

After watching nearly all of tennis video instructors on KZbin, I have decided that Tomaz presents the most practical and complete tennis info for all skill levels in a clear and logical way.

One hand- backhand is not effective compared two handed- backhand is’nt it?
@MiliTennis
@MiliTennis Жыл бұрын
Well there are places and they’re minuses I have somewhere in my website in the blog talking about comparison. Also depends of many things so you have to be more precise with a question. Definitely not One hand for small kids and definitely not 2 hands for adults Unless those adults started as kids and then made a break. One hand makes winners 2 hands make less mistakes …

Great video on backhand slice drill. One comment/critique. Seems like she is opening up a little too much on the swing. Should be complete closed stance/sideways with head looking over her shoulder for this backhand slice drill. Thank you for sharing

Great progress, I wished I had such trainer when I was younger👍, so to summarize: 1. Lock wrist until hitting the ball 2. Left arm to help coild the body 3. Stabilize the wrist by Palm facing ground. Could you please explain this to me? I did not understand how it works? I have also problems with control because I like to hit hard. Thank you. 4. Weight transfer from one lef to another
