I thought they missed a huge opportunity to play this in that epic 2002 Super bowl halftime show while the names of the people killed on 9/11 scrolled up toward the sky. That would have been a perfect time for America to experience this song.

I sang this from Jeff Wayne's "The War of the Worlds" SO loud my next-door neighbor asked me to turn down music. I was singing with my headphones on.😂... They wanted to hear it WITH the music.... so I sang it again, and they enjoyed it. For my little red-headed girl ❤

我第一次聽到曼德拉這個名字， 是在幾年前聽Beyond唱《光輝歲月》後， 因好奇他寫這首歌的原因， 所以上網查才知道曼德拉這個人。 呵~ 柯文哲是把極權獨裁毛澤東所著作《毛語錄》掛嘴邊的人， 是為了權力操弄政治的人， 是位把智商157掛嘴邊、自視甚高的人， 卻形容有貪污嫌疑被羈押的柯文哲是曼德拉？？ 這種形容是在侮辱曼德拉嗎？？？ 真是笑死~ 😂😂😂

雖不知黑人平權運動在當時香港是否城中熱門話題 但若在今天2024用這個話題寫歌宣揚自由平等, 還是很超前的 如果家駒還在, 滿是情歌的香港歌壇或許會有點改變吧
