The only thing that makes a person a man or a woman is their biology. Everything else is stereotypes. Instead of trying to change the words "man" and "woman" to include people of the opposite sex, I think it would be more helpful for gender diverse people and society at large to expand their understanding of what living as a man or as a woman can mean.

I’m not ftm but I’m not just female. I don’t want to be a boy, I just don’t identify with female stereotypes. I say I’m genderqueer with she/they/he pronouns. Mostly because I just want to dress and look how I want and not worry how I’m perceived. My only major dysphoria is my chest. I’m only fifteen but as I grow into an adult I may find out more about myself. Remember to always be yourself, and experimenting with your preferences will never invalidate you.

Just because you are not comfortable with female stereotypes doesn’t mean that you are not a woman! There is no wrong or right way to be a woman, all you have to do is being female. It’s that simple. Remember, all these stereotypes about women were created to oppress women, so it’s totally natural that you don’t identify with something that was created to oppress you! In fact I’m surprised not more women find them repressive. And your right, experimenting with your preferences is great, but I believe you would benefit from dropping the idea that gender stereotypes are somehow tied to being a man or a woman. Just forget about gender and gender identity. I personally felt very freed by that. I’m a man, just because I’m male. I don’t need to perform masculinity to be a man or to be validated as a man, I just am one. Forgetting the indefinable concept of gender identity helped me so much to be more comfortable with myself. maybe that can help you too😊❤

Stories like yours are importent everybody is different and everybody struggled with different parts of their identity. I personally am at the start of my journey mtf and it just feels right. Like something I have been missing my whole life, even if I pass or not, stealth or not Wearing girly things just makes me feel whole, I developed the problem that I cant even look at myself in the mirror anymore without hating what I see. I am trying so hard to work in the confines of what a male body is but it just isnt enough.

I still hide female characteristics of my body because I don't want any sexual attention. Many women might wish they were born male not because they want to be men. It's because all the dangers targeting women are scary, and even my father was not safe person for me. I am so-called 'masculine woman' but now I don't have any desire to be opposite sex. People doesn't have to be fit into narrow gender norms box. People need to accept the real concept of diversity

Thank you all for all the love and support! I plan on eventually doing a second part but considering how long this took me it'll likely be awhile. A lot of people are commenting on Pete's race so Im clarifying that it's because I was trying to make him look more tan/biracial but I was struggling with selecting a color (either too light or too dark) and thats what I ended up settling on I actually originally had him even darker and that's the fixed version 💀 In part 2 I'll try to make the color more accurate to his in game model. It was never my intention to straight up race swap him he's just more tan that usual

i'm trans (ftm), i used to think i was "stuck in the wrong body" bc it was how i learned i was trans (watched animatics of other trans guys, looked in the mirror and fully noticed by chest) and it felt like no one would take me seriously if i didn't show discomfort with my state as a female. Something to the tune of "she doesn't mind her body, she likes girly things, has no qualms with how she was raised gender-wise, and she's afab, so my daughter is a cis girl." The only actual dysphoria i get now is with my voice, which barely ever happens, but the idea of being a guy is so great to me, even if i wear dresses and lipstick and w/e. It's been over three years since i've learned that i was trans, my parents are a lot more comfortable with my identity and the LGBTQ+ community in general, and so am i tbh. thank you so much for making this video, dysphoria isn't being trans, the stereotypes about each gender don't matter when it comes to your own, and i'm glad someone's talking about it without bashing the trans community
