I uninstalled the recent CoD release as it was more restarting the game then letting me play the campaign... It was ridiculous!

Watching a video of some weird "Dragongirl" have a fight with her mother at dinnertime because she wants to be called "They/Them" is NOT entertainment! Just for the record. Charles Manson also wanted to be referred to as "They/Them". There's no such thing as "Non-Binary"! Quit making this shit up! And it is definitely NOT entertaining. If you are going to have Lesbians in video games, show some making out or cleavage. Who knows, maybe even Lesbians will buy your games. lol

Me personally its that games are so big. Missions and enemies get repetitive. I enjoyed the story of banishers and horizon but the gameplay and enemies get boring. Recently play Silent hill 2 even tho enemies are repetitive the story was linear and story good i finished it before i got bored. Also started the new life is strange and love it. Anyone have any actually good games to play?

games are fun. Cyberpunk and RDR2 were really good. AC Odyssey is fun so far.. I just wish it was 60 fps.

Last games I actually loved were the talos principle, still playing the talos principle 2, dbfz, ghost of Tsushima. I played ghost of Tsushima in 2024, and I also loved god of war ps4 but I love his of war always. So yea

Square doesn't know how to make games. They keep making playable movies like Sony. And Nomura is just a joke.

Hey man. I totally agree with you. If you want to make a video about something interesting, I can share with you my struggle to success as a solo indie developer and the long and hard development path of my best seller called The Lonely Hacker.

Honestly I strongly disagre. The fact your playstyle and the sort of build isnt suitable for this fight is not the bosses design fault, since we all know that approaching the same fight with ranged build would be totally different and it would be silly to pretend that every time your build must get you through every fight as youd like
@thatguybis1997Күн бұрын
I think there’s some truth to this but I still stand by the fact that the game shouldn’t be shoehorning you into a build that’s more optimal for boss fights all the time. And if you think the opposite, then that’s probably why you liked the game where I didn’t.

Only time I felt the need to really use a summoning ash on the game was against Mohg in his blood palace because I wasn't using that shackle thing that binds him and stops his regeneration thing. Spent a good few hours slugging away with the guy but his second phase was too much to handle, I ended up using my mimic tear and let me tell you, I regretted it INSTANTLY the moment the boss died. I even felt like when he died, he looked at me with this disappointed face and just vanished. I felt like I cheated myself out of something cool. After than I decided to only use them in chance encounters against multiple foes and only Stormhawk Deenh as he doesn't do a lot of damage and is mostly a utility summon.

I almost finished the video, but the loudly interjected clips between the mostly calm conversation were grating. I don't disagree with some of the points you have made, but I don't agree with a lot of them either. Dark Souls 2 was different, but I never felt that it was awful. It's not as bad as it's made to seem. I did recently pick up the Xbox one version of this game to attempt all achievements again, and it was a bit odd at first, but it's not quite unbearable, just different.

Still working out interjecting clips during my commentary, I appreciate the watch.

Video game developers today are focused on creating realistic visuals, not fun. This is especially true with American developers. American developers think realistic means better. They don't care if the game is fun, if it looks realistic is what they care about.

I dissagree about microtransactions...1) you want me to feel bad for a multi mil company that charges me already 80€ for the most basic rpg game where indi devs are actually making better games now for much cheaper and still manage to push industry forward? Nah...first time greedy, always greedy. Downfall of Bethesda started with a single horse skin... 2) as long as there exist game studios that make good games first and then money second- like from software or larian - i will never be convinced that MTs are essential for surviving...

If you can't make the game without microtransactions, just don't bother. My favorite games are the ones that can immerse me into the world, you know what breaks immersion? Cash shops, loot boxes, and season passes. If you need to charge more for the game then do so, the experience should reflect the cost of the game; I would expect to pay more for a fun AAA title that required more resources to produce. At this point after playing games for over 30 years I simply refuse to buy or play games that have these immersion breaking in game revenue generators. I'm fine with buying the game and/or paying a subscription, but I will not subject myself to a watered down experience going forward.

I can tell you personally why I hate playing games now-a-days when way back when I was a little lad I used to have a blast playing them. I Suck at all of them. No, seriously, I am horrendously bad at all of the games I play. And not just because I play them casually or just every so often so I don't get better at them, no, I put a lot of time into trying to not only have fun in a game, but be skilled enough to know what I'm doing, and I just suck. I look up guides, strategies, have tried different mind sets in my games, and anything you can think of to get better at the games I play. I play both a mix of solo games and multiplayer games, and I always seem to just get beat down and fucked up. I play DBD, and I either die instantly as survivor because I can't loop properly or I keep fucking up skill checks on generators, or as killer I just can't catch up to survivors no matter how hard I try simply because they can run around a truck or a stack of hay bails better than I can, and I have over 2 thousand hours in that game. It's not like I don't try different strategies or anything, it's just I suck at executing them. and as for a solo example, I try my heart out on remnant 2 and I just die to enemies that I don't kill fast enough or bosses that I have fought numerous times and still somehow fuck up a very telegraphed attack or patterns that the bosses do nearly in a loop, which should be very easy to remember, but I somehow flub them every single time. I sucked at them as a kid as well, but at least then I didn't really care about winning, I just cared about having fun. Now-a-days I am tired of losing, dying, and failing so much it actually makes gaming insufferable. I am the walking embodiment of a perpetual unfixable skill issue.

it's a bit of a catch 22, games before they were patched were much more basic. As games with more and more in them come out, they need more bug fixes and patches. True across all sectors of technology we use. Seems simple enough concept. If we want massive engrossing games, there are going to be problems, bugs and patches. Such is life.

Fighting all the big bosses with weapons is BS in elden ring... sticking to their legs or something to attack, you cant see the attacks nor the beautiful animations the boss does... but i will not go for a ng+ with sorceries or incantations because of the emptyness of the game...
