Intresting to see if they go up this year, cant see it myself, but im living in buckinghamshire, and to be fair you know the local area, intrest rates possibly coming down, no guarantee though.

I dont know that market in Buckinghamshire however if interest rates continue to come down where most buyers are getting 3 to 4.25% you'll certainly see buyer demand increase which consequently usually leads to house prices going up. Keep me informed as i'd be interested to hear how things go down there. You also have to bear in mind the election this year which always has a bearing on the housing market.

You have more confidence than me, The intrest rate rises havent filtered through yet, im a buy to let owner getting 5% on my money, why would i look to buy now if prices like you say might go up modestly? I can appreciate that you are not talking about the btl market though

Inflation is still over the expected rate, expected to be under 10% last month. Intrest rates ready for 5% before autumn. Thanks though for the information as i am looking around the wirral and mold, for when moving from Buckinghamshire.
